Thanks, I downloaded the v3.1 installer and added it to ux0:/vitamin
But when I try to install it on the Vita, it stays at 0% on the installer.

If I press circle to cancle the install, my vita then stops responding and I have to power off and back on.

I replaced the files in my adrenaline folder with the new files but seem to be getting a black screen after the adrenaline splash screen If anyone knows a solution please let me know.

the original release the adrenaline menu is opening which i find strange
Is your adrenaline folder in the pspemu folder if so move it to the root of ux0 and go into the tai folder and edit your config.txt. You need to delete the 2 paths in the config to remove the pspemu part. Adrenaline folder has now moved with newer release.

Just download adrenaline easy installer

Yep, I had done that to start with.
Anyway, I noticed on the bubble installer that you 'needed' the vita to be activated to be able to use it also.

So I just created a psn account (dubious about using my main one) and activated the Vita while henkaku was active. Then I used the Adrenaline installer and it worked.. all good.

Does v4 really have framerate issues with PS1 games? The fact that no fix has been released yet has me wondering.

Seems like mainly a ps1 emulation issue over anything else. Other games run fine while some have framerate issues.

I dunno, i have not really actively used it. Besides using it on psvita tv with 1080I, you can fix that using a lower output resolution other than 1080I. Is cause of the sudden change not to use the official filter support by option like previous versions. Any active filter in 1080I will cause frame drop from 60FPS, so 720P or lower will fix it.

Using a actual vita portable has no problems as far as i concern, only problem is ps1 games created eboots unofficial, psn games official are no problem.

Does it only affect the PSTV?

I thought Rollcage ran with framerate issues, but the game might just have a low framerate so it's hard to tell if the problem is real.

Have a look for a community psn thread.

Don't you need a license file for official ps1 games?
No not for psp after it's decrypted into an eboot

Yeah there's like 300+ plus games there in .pkg format. You use the attached tool on there and it decrypts the .pkg. Once decrypted it makes the required key using some algorithm to play official psp games.
