Here's some progress on a text translation. https://github.com/SciresM/FireEmblemSoVTextTranslation. Currently only works with Luma hourlies, but for stable Luma users, you could extract the code.bin from the cia on that iso site and use the ips patch to patch the code.bin.

Extract the patch to the root of your SD card.
Enable "Enable Game Patching" and apparently "Patch svc/service access" in Luma's settings.
