After being leaked last week, Bungie has officially come out to reveal the sequel to 2014's Destiny. Besides a single image from the game's official Twitter, nothing else was shown off. Destiny 2 is slated for a 2017 release, according to Activision financial reports. Though it is only rumored at this time, the game will supposedly launch for PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One, Xbox Scorpio, and PC.

It is my destiny to not play this game, i haven't play the first one.... well i mean it doesn't interest me. There i said it. I remember destiny first at e3 and being exited, but then lost it quickly over time.

Will buy pre-owned, since they refuse to upgrade my Year 1 copy and I have no means of buying the DLC short of buying The Collection, effectively re-purchasing the game and two packs I already own. The way Bungie managed Destiny's DLC is a joke.

In what way did they handle the DLC differently to any other game?

They repackaged it for $60 every year leaving the early adopters to pay more for the same damn things.

So, you could buy it now, and pay up to $140 for DLC.. Or, wait 2 years and buy everything for $60.

In my opinion that's a good way to handle things. Sure it will be more expensive in the long run for people who bough the game on day one but it also makes it much easier for new people to jump in.

Yes, throw a bone to those who decided to WAIT and take advantage of those who wanted to support the devs. At this point, everyone is better off waiting until all the DLC is out and packaged into one convenient $60 package.

Honestly they should make the dlc a lot cheaper for those who are playing the original package but releasing a game with the dlc in box later down the road is a good move.
