just wondering, how do you transfer from mhgen to mhx? i tried copy character and it doesnt work? am i doing something wrong?
What error did it show? I'm guessing your issue is that you don't have a MHX save file. You can only copy to an existing save file, so start up MHX at least once so that it creates the save file.

I have an issue:
While checking my armor sets the game shut itself. Anything I can do?
I think that happens when you have event armor that's not available in the game your copying your character to. Just sell your event armor and then transfer your character again.

it shows an error and it doesnt move the character, what I did to transfer the character was backup mhgen save using the tool, change the name to import it to mhx it gave an error but it worked, transfer characters is not working as of now for me,i do have the 3 games installed, mhgen usa, mhx with 1.3 and mhxx

MHX and MHGen save files are not compatible so if you used the "Restore Save" option to replace you MHX save file, then it's probably corrupt. Delete it and create a fresh MHX save, then use the "Copy Chatacter" option.

Yes. Delete your MHX save file and then run MHX to create a new blank save file. Then start MHX Data Manager and use the "Copy Character" option to copy your MHGen character to the MHX save file.
dude found the culprit, my save was created in 1.2 when I saved in 1.3 everything worked, maybe you could add that info in the github or in the post, that you must save in the latest patch for it to work, but everything is good thanks for the help :)

You need to have at least Homebrew working.

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

i dont have an sd card adapter but I have an usb sd card adapter

    For your R4
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    nvm it does support mine
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
but why choose it over ysmenu @Psionic Roshambo?

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Slightly slower loading but a bit more convenient
