is it even possible to install dsi menu and being functional. like somehow install able to sysnand twln partion (I'm pretty sure that's the correct part of the system). that would be a dream come true. having every bit of the dsi menu, even the system settings for dsi. I hope this is possible. so does anyone know if it could be implemented.

I'm more asking about dsi function. So for example, the dsi menu fully working on a 3ds in ds/dsi mode.
As far as I know, we have the function to launch programs through DSi-mode, but I can't find anyway to actually launch the DSi menu itself.

yep, which is why I brought this up, hoping maybe someone could make a patch to the dsi menu, so it works properly on 3ds. The biggest issue I'd imagine is the fact that the dsi menu when loading apps has to avoid going back into 3ds mode. since I did a little testing of my own. (I got the dsi camera to work) but quickly noticed that anything to do with leaving, or launching another part of the system. It would cause it go back to 3ds mode. as it was clearly not intented to launch one dsi app into another. so like example going from dsi camera and then trying to post it to Facebook, (which uses the dsi webrowser.) but since this is never intended causes it load back into 3ds mode. THAT will be the biggest issue. because clearly, its going to take a patch to the dsi firm, and the system files itself (dsi system files) so they all load without a problem. and launching dsi/ds cart inside dsi mode? I think that could be difficult however im rather unsure at the moment
