For those of you that may have gotten this case (or one of the similar ones by PDP with a different design):
I decided that 14 games slots may be a little much and envied the multi-functional mesh pouch that other cases have to carry other accessories. So I decided to sacrifice some games slots for more functionality:
This was an easy mod, I just used a seam ripper to remove the stitching under and between some of the game card holders so it could hold other things. The case closes fine and doesn't hurt the Switch though I do have a screen protector on mine.
The comfort grip was far too large to fit in the case with the wings attached so I removed them as seen here:
Removing the wings requires unscrewing the 8 visible tri-wing screws, then after removing the center piece face plate, unscrewing the two hidden tri-wing screws. After that you can take part of the wings off and get to the remaining four phillips screws to finish the job. Then reassemble.
If I had the chance to do this over again, I'd put the comfort grip in columns 3-4 and the rails in column 5. The way it is now the rails are right over the right analog stick and although they don't press the stick down, it's more likely to be pushed when in a bag or something.
