It does rub when I dock it yes, the worst I've gotten though is a smudge on the bottom of the screen from the rubber pads on the bottom, but they easily buff out.
Where does it rub though the top bent part or the bottom the rubber pads

Why should it have a curve to it? It seems to me like it shouldn't considering there is no rubber pad at the top only on the bottom. I could be wrong. I haven't seen a dock yet that wasn't bent lol.

I don't see how it could be due to packaging or shipping I've tried to bend it back but it seems like it was molded that way either in manufacturing or post manufacturing due to some heat source. Maybe if i stick it in the oven for a bit I could prop something in between while it cools down and reform it.
It was meant to guide the switch into place. Ive seen the review units from treehouse ,ign and the other places and all of them had a very small curve to them

Where or not its suppose to trully be there, they all had a small bend to then

Does yours have a curve also

Mine slid in well and had plenty wiggle room when I first received it. It has since warped bit and docking the Switch prys it apart slightly. AmFilm glass protector so no scratches.

Mine doesn't catch on the top when i dock it
yea mines clears everything 100%
just saying that the dock is bend inward a little bit.
I think people are probably just having dirt get caught on the screen or the rubber pads
