Hello, trying to undertand if I'm able to install SCT on Mocha without rednand. Is is posible? Will my system brick?
Trying to figure out how to setup a wifi connection without the need of a gamepad.

Thanks.

I don't have a 100% proven answer: I have read that it's safe to install SystemConfigTool even without permanent CFW, but at the same time I personally tried installing it to USB (having CBHC) and the console didn't boot with the hard drive unplugged, so it does force itself some way in the boot sequence...

How are you even starting Mocha without network? If you have Haxchi, then you can get CBHC...

Hello Ryccardo, thanks for the reply. I do actually have Haxchi installed to access Homebrew Channel then Mocha. I'm not really interested on CBHC since my main objective is to access the System config options only without the need of a gamepad (to setup a WiFi connection, not LAN).

So, seems like I could actually install the System Config Tool to the NAND so far... anyone could confirm it?

I have installed System Config tool on mocha cfw and it does work but it has to be the safe version and try not to mess with all settings :)

Safe versión... Hmmm... is there any way to know it's the "safe" versión? I'm actually only touching network options. Thanks fot the aclaration btw.

I installed system config tool to my sysNAND in order to start installing games to sysNAND. wup installer doesn't seem to detect the front two usb ports which my hdd is plugged into, so I went with system config tool. it's what I've been using on redNAND. never had a problem with it. :D

Uhm, the non safe versions are hard to find, just redownload it from where ever you got it and you should be good, or PM me I guess.
Interesting. So let's say the version we installed on rednand when it was released it's already the safe version.

It been this way for a few months now
Oh okay, I must've missed it. I'd be interested in using this for when that rare occasion happens when a game fails to install and leaves behind garbage data that just won't delete.
Other than that what benefits is there to using this over WUP Installer GX2?

sysconfigtool working on sysnand, a safe version? This is new to me
Yeah, just redownload it at the place you found it, it should be a good patched version, PM me if you aren't sure tho.

Looks nice, runs nicer, extra options, no more system settings soft reboots, etc.

iAqua's pastebin has the safe one? That's the real question now ;)

Edit: Yeah, it is. Just installed it while I was on Mocha to the NAND and all working as expected. Thanks guys.
