No. Only retroarch.hmod (FDS functionality), fb_alpha.hmod and fbalpha2012_neogeo.hmod were updated. If you don't have any FDS games you wish to run using Nestopia, there's no point in updating anything

Thanks for the info.yeah I dont have any FDS games..but Retroarch was updated? Maybe I should update that one?

Sonic 2 & 3 give a black screen and go's back to NES Classic menu. Alreay try different roms but same problem. You guys have any idea what i did wrong ? :)
Are them in .bin format? If so, that's the problem. Use roms with .md extension

I read that someone flashed 314 MB onto the mini. Could someone explain the 300 MB limit on the hackchi2 program?
It's an estimate. There are other factors outside of ROMs that aren't included in the 300MB count that can max out the storage of your NESC, such as installed mods, emulator BIOS, save states, folder art, etc.

I tried to name a file retroarch (version 0.5).hmod, but it didn't like that. It won't install the module with that name.

I was trying so hard to be tidy, and have version numbers on the files. :P rofl.

Years ago, I manually patched together Sonic 2 + S&K and Sonic 3 + S&K, which left them as .bin files. Just to be safe, I found .md files and used those.

Yes..you have to install the mods b4 you install the games in the MODULES button in main Hakchi gui.Just make sure you have the correct cores in the user_mods folder for your games before you install up in MODULES.When the folder options come up...select CUSTOMIZE..You can make folders yourself EG: NES SNES.. etc and drag and drop your games in the folders...

Leave the original 30 games that came on the mini together..but drag and drop the roms you added into those folders.

@Spottedfeather

You may not have many responses, but all the info for what your needs are is in this thread.Just have to read,,hehe!

I had to use the search feature in upper right corner of this thread to find all the info myself when I first started modding my mini. Just alot of reading!

Hey guys, just thought I'd chime in with my experiences so far. I've mostly been interested in the arcade emulation so that's what the bulk of my rant will be about.

What I have running arcade wise right now:
Cps2:
gem fighter mini mix
Super puzzle fighter 2 turbo

Mame 2003:
Street fighter alpha 3
Sunset riders 4 player

Final burn alpha:
Simpsons 2 player
Tmnt 2 player
Willow

Neo Geo:
Puzzle De pon!
Bust a move
Neo turf masters
Baseball stars 2

The rest is pretty boring, 90 nes games, 31 snes, a few gb, ba, 5 genesis blah blah.

I tried the vectrex core out and chose spike, but the sound is horredous. Unplayable IMO. Wanted to mess around with the PSX core but the average iso I could find was around 430mb, so if yall know something I dont, please share!

For the LIFE of me, I can't figure out why I'm unable to change the music. Nothing I try works. Where are you hakchi gurus!?

Really ? Nobody is going to help me with the folder structures and what the hakchi2 settings mean ?
You can see the changes in folder management when you press those buttons It means exactly what it means, you can keep original games, hide them, split extra games even or alphabeticall. Just try it, when you run into problems we are here to help you. Just follow the steps and read before you do anything.

Can you play SNES with the original NES Classic Mini controller ? Super mario all-stars launch and i can navigate the menu but soon as i see mario to go to level 1 the controller is not working anymore...

Since SNES games now use the snes9x2005 core in RetroArch and I made the switch from the other core, Super Mario All-Stars is the only game I've had a problem with regards to the controller not working. I reinstalled snes9x2010 core and then added the snes10 argument in Hakchi for mario all-stars. Controller working again! but keep in mind the save states will be 5 megs each due to the bug in snes9x2010 core.

Not sure if classic mini controller works though, never tried it. I just wanted to continue using my wii classic pro controller

I'll have to find an NES Classic first. Stores don't have them. Online doesn't have them. I'm getting pretty sick of Nintendo at this point.

I see you've added more ready to go MAME roms to your GitHub today. Safe to say you've tested them on your console? Thanks again for this.
