do you have a nand backup? just in case.. i don't think you need to reflash it, because if you can launch luma, pretty much can launch decrypt9
but if you have the nand backup, you are pretty much safe
(or you know, sell the console and it's nand backup to someone who can repair it, for cheap and use this incident as an excuse to get a new 3ds xl )
Gonna come out and say it, I didn't have enough space on the 3ds to make a nand backup and no card to use either.

. . . but you said you used 3ds.guide . . . the guide has you create and restore a nandmin.bin it also tells you to save it to your pc to recover from potential bricks

As I said, I didn't have enough space for one and didn't have a card nearby so I just skipped it.

Then you can just do a 9.2.0 ctrtransfer.

Thanks, you're my saviour.

woa... give me permission to say this, that was very dumb...
always create a nand backup. no excuse.. (the first 3ds comes with a 2gb card you can even use that)
well since you said you was mjessing with TWL stuff, i have 2 ideas you can try...

first idea, as people had told, to update luma...
https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/releases
download the 7z file, copy arm9loaderhax.bin into the root of the SD card...
hold select on boot to open luma config, select "autoboot sysnand"
make sure everything else is turned off like dev features..

if that doesn't work, since the thing happened while you was trying about DS games
follow this:
https://3ds.guide/troubleshooting
try the first part...
this is a tutorial to fix DS stuff, (maybe you installed a wrong system title or something?)
not sure if applicable to fix your console but just takijng a guess, without knowing exactly what you did.. to understand what happened..

either way
try to launch decrypt 9 (or hourglass, you have to hold a key at boot, i think its the start button) it should work, if it does, at least your console is just crippled, but entirely gone
it doesn't work check for a payloads folder in SD:/luma/payloads if there is decrypt9 or hourglass

I tried updating luma, nd that didn't work

I don't see how it would help me to download another tw since I can't get into the system

i edited my post, with a little more stuff.
but try that ctr transfer thing user above mentioned

Quick question, I have no space in my card, and "Nintendo 3DS" takes up about 1.5 gigs. Could I delete this or is it crucial for the 3ds? Because I need space for the transfer .bin files

how big is your SD card? that folder is where things like games are stored.

It's 2GB. Where are all games saved? Need to delete those
move the Nintendo 3ds folder into your pc
you will ahve all the space then..
that folder hosts the games and saves and extra data...
you can move it while you "repair" the console and later restore it with no harm

What's the maximum size for the sd cards?(Which the 3ds can recognise/utilize)
officially 32GB
however i am using a 64GB card, people had been even using 128 GB card, however they mention it kinda slows the console..
as long as it's fat32 formatted it should do the job
