You always need sigpatch for using someone else's update. The only way will be to wait till the game is released and update from Nintendo's servers.can someone get the update and/or legit ticket for the update? I guess the update is the same we already have. but the ticket would be cool to have, because it would eliminate the need of haxchi or some other sigpatch method.
the question remains: why didn't we get the update from disc? it was on there (at least the ppl who got the disc reported that). You always need sigpatch for using someone else's update. The only way will be to wait till the game is released and update from Nintendo's servers.
Nobody wanted to dump it. People are lazy nowadays.the question remains: why didn't we get the update from disc? it was on there (at least the ppl who got the disc reported that).
Then I don't get where it came from in the first place. Was it also on NUS for a short time, like the game files?Nobody wanted to dump it. People are lazy nowadays.
It was on NUS, we needed .tik, .tik was leaked, we needed update, somebody dropped update with fake signed .tik.Then I don't get where it came from in the first place. Was it also on NUS for a short time, like the game files?
I believe it is the one from the disc. However like I said updates are tied to your Nintendo account thus the need for fake signing to use with other accounts. So probably what happens is the update install is on the disk, when you install it, it creates a ticket for your Nintendo account. Then I don't get where it came from in the first place. I was wondering if that was the reason, because it would expose whoever leaked it in that case, why the tik wasn't released w/ update.I believe it is the one from the disc. Even if they did leak the updates ticket it wouldn't work with your game so you'd have to fake sign it.I was wondering if that was the reason, because it would expose whoever leaked it in that case, why the tik wasn't released w/ update.
So now that we have an update tik, is it possible to play without sigpatches?

yep , you need sigpatcher or mocha... before you install the update cuz the .tik of the update is a fake one.EU console (UK) and installed BOTW using WUP mod y, but the update install won't work, keeps coming up error fffbf442.
Anyone got a way to fix it? Is it a simple naming error?
Any specific sigpatcher I can use? I'm not running custom firmware, just homebrewyep , you need sigpatcher or mocha... before you install the update cuz the .tik of the update is a fake one.
then you can run it , and when you turn off your wiiu , you do the same using sigpatcher or mocha before you launch the game.
