It was in my "testing" folder last run with a few NES games. I moved it to it's own "N64" folder and the result is the same.

So, I saw this in the release notes "Fixed huge bug in folder manager when new folders were missed after first sync". I'm hopefully that is what has been driving me crazy about the missing ROMs. Not sure if it addresses your issue or not, but looks promising...

I got your exact same problem: i think it is related to files "splitted" in the passage from an upload session and the other: i solved removing 2 big files(8MBs each) leaving only small ones and the problem was gone. I reported it to @Cluster, I hope he will find what the exact problem is.
I was thinking the same thing. I hope this can get resolved. I got Dungeons and Dragons: Tower of Doom working once, but after that was when I was having the issue. I ended up removing it, but would be awesome to complete my collection.

Pardon my ignorance. So with 2.13 cluster says RA can compress the files. Do we just add NES games like we did in 2.12 (like the .sfc or .smc file) or do we add the zip folder?

Reminds me of Gir from Invader Zim!!!!!!!!
Thanks for all you are doing @NeoRame !

While I'm at it!
Also some thank you's for @Cluster , @pcm720, all those who've helped get more cores, testings, contributions to this wonderful project.

I definitely appreciate you all!

If you don't have '--retroarch' flag in the game's command line options, it will use stock emulator (kachikachi) for FDS games.
If you want to use Nestopia for FDS games with original controller, you can remap "change disk side" button to one of the existing buttons on the controller.

Is there any way to both set the global flag --retroarch so that all games use that emulator, but then on FDS games, make a per game exception to use stock? I find that some games default to using the stock emulator, but definitely run better in RetroArch.

For consoles with a system BIOS... What folder does it need to go in, and will it be automatically recognize or do we need to point to it via command line?

When you add non-NES games he automatically zips them up to save you the space so you don't need to zip them yourself. However, I'm fairly sure you have to rebuild your library as he won't go back and zip the old ones up.

However, he doesn't zip the NES games because the base emulator doesn't support them and he built the program so it would work without Retroarch installed.

Pcm, is CRT issue with nestopia solved in the new releas?

Which issue are you talking about?

It's possible to write a shell script to automatically fix all .desktop files with .fds ROMs inside or to modify retroarch-clover script to run all NES games on default RetroArch emulator, and use kachikachi for FDS games.

Thanks BrettX1234. I will delete current games in SNES library and re-add them by adding the zip file when adding the game.

I haven't updated to 2.13 yet. Are you saying we simply delete then re-add our non-NES games, and they will automatically be compressed for us?

Great work as usual to Cluster. Just one question about 2.13:

If I created save states using an unzipped game, if I delete and then re-add that game as a .zip file, will my save state be lost?
The thumbnail save did NOT work for GBA when the original game was added and later zipped in Version 13. It would show up, but would just start from the scratch. However, the battery backup did work for the same game.

For the SNES, the thumbnail did work, as did the battery backup.

Proceed with caution...

No problem. Just to be clear, I haven't confirmed whether he tries to also zip them when sending across (meaning you wouldn't need to rebuild the library). But I seriously doubt he does as he definitely zips them when you add them to the library itself.

The new hakchi 2.13 doesnt seem to work for me, I'm trying to sync 198 games compressed with hakchi2 (NES/SNES, GB/GBC/GBA, SMS/Genesis, for a total of 114MB) and the red light stays on after transfering the first part of ROMs.

Anyone else having the same problem as me?

Hello my GBA friends,

short question, did anyboy know how hakchi 2.13 calculated the space? Currently i have a full set of NES games installed 789 with HS 3D Covers and he tells me 211MB / 300MB.
If i check the size, only the pictures are already 211 MB is this just luck or does thid 300MB doesnt include roms?

Thanks for your support. :)

@pcm720 I've updated to the last hakchi and retroarch mod and now The mysterious Murasame Castle runs perfectly. Thanks for all the efforts.
