It runs them better than the original core but it could be better. I've encountered some inconvenient slowdown on Gunstar Superheroes and Sonic Advance 2+3. For the most part with other games it works great though (Spider-Man Mysterio's Menace, Sonic Advance 1, Pinball of the Dead seemed to be fine).
so pokemon would be fine

Added PC Engine core, changed home button combo in RetroArch: now you can enter RA's in-game menu by pressing Select + Start on the controller.

Amazing work as always ! not familiar with PC engine but I seen some cool games from other fellow youtube videos from here. like marvel vs capcom etc i believe? But heard roms are 19 MB or so

nvm Im thinking of CPS2 ?

Ok, so I wanted to add the Retroarch icon so I could adjust some button mappings to hopefully fix my "Please insert Side B" Famicom disk issue. But I wanted it "out of the way" as much as I could get. So I figured I would put it in a folder so it wouldn't get mixed up with games.

So on my main screen, I have the original 30 games and then the "More games" folder. I then created a "Retroarch" folder and put the shortcut inside that. (See attached pic.) I synched my NESC but the "Retroarch" folder I created is nowhere to be seen when I turn the unit on.

Why did it disappear? Is it because I cannot put it in a folder, or did I do something wrong?

EDIT: Nevermind. Didn't have to do any of this as pressing SELECT & START gets me into the Retroarch settings anyways.

Make a copy of the ROM file, rename it, then add it. The program won't let you add two files with the same name.
is not working I'm renaming it "genie Shatterhand" and "genieshatterhand" and it doesn't duplicate in the app
i obviously can't name it a random name or else i won't know what game it is

@nesito is correct. Not the name change. Has to do with the CRC.

Perfect this is just what I've been waiting for... Thanks for this. :)

I've got quite a few controller options but I've been sticking to two button games and systems as want my original nes mini pads to work and pc engine games all play great with the 2 button layout here.

Do I just install this over ClusterMs original release mod as I assume it's just the addition core added?

As a request would to u be able to add the fba2012 Arcade Core to this mod (not the cps2 or neo geo) as I'd love to get robocop and pang running? I know it's a larger core but smaller roms run great with the 2 button layout?

Wow, lots of news. Many pages to read. New hakchi2 with vitamins!

Can I add SNES ROMs anytime or just after RetroArch extra module installation?

In theory, if I make PS2 Controller works on NES Mini, can I use it to play SNES, Genesis, N64 & GBA games?

Yeah, must be thinking of CPS2 arcade ROMs. There are some good TurboGrafx 16 games, such as:
  • 1943 Kai
  • Blazing Lazers
  • Bonk's Adventure
  • Bonk's Revenge
  • Bonk III: Bonk's Big Adventure
  • Neutopia II
  • R-Type
  • Soldier Blade
  • Super Star Soldier
Altogether, these 9 ROMs come to 5.00 MB, uncompressed (2,57 MB compressed).

You have to install the mod through the program, but once you do that you can add SNES ROMs just like you would NES ROMs.

Yeah I seen games run 60 framerate in your video! How do I add CPS2 core ?

It's easy, pcm teach me so well in the past, and in the present by the way ^^

Need to put fbalpha2012_cps2_libretro.so in \retroarch.hmod core path also you need to create a binary to point to the core. Copy one like n64 and paste on \bin folder to make a clone. Rename the cloned file to cps2 edit it with notepad++
I put the code in previous post i'm in bed, sorry but someone can help you for sure. but only it's necessary if use the n64 bin to make the clone , remplace mupen64plus for the core file without _libretro.so
Then In hakchi2 2.12 add the game, like was a NES game when prompt ask you select any file. Then copy or remember the game ID, and search in you \hakchi2\games folder then enter in the folder and delete the extracted file from zip game. copy the rom .zip and let do the magic...
In hakchi 2 the game title is like c1s.rom or similar. Change it to a human title like Marvel vs Capcom, change the date, the publisher and yes.. google the cover ;) Wait a moment this is magic?
No, magic is when in the command line of your new named Marvel vs Capcom remplaces the "name of your app" or similar with the cps2 (the bin that created at the beginning of this little history ;)) and at the end of the command line , remplace the c1s.rom(or similar) and put the rom name (included .zip)

Syncro and then thanks to Cluster's & madmonkey's skills enjoy.

Ugh :D Sounds complicated I got edit the retroarch.hmod ? I might just wait for a video or for PCM to add FBA_2012_CPS2 core lol

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Also If I modded someones NES would I still be able update theres to Hakchi 2.12 if I just moved the Config and dump to new hachi2.12 like I did mine ? But they will lose any saves they had since I last sync there NES mini ? So I should sync 1 game or whatever to update config then move it?

If are you using the compiled retroarch.hmod (is a file not a folder) you cannot add cores or similar.
Check this spanish video (Anthony can understand it, it's easy) At 11:50 minute.

Not quite. You'll need to remove Cluster's mod first, I've changed some directories so it's not just additional cores.

We'll see about bigger cores. I might implement some kind of a module template so you could add one core per module separately from RetroArch itself.
