I suck at putting them on and if they are off by just a bit it bugs me. To start I ordered the amFilm ones as they get generally positive reviews on Amazon. I go with Zagg for my iPhones because the mall down the street has a kiosk and they will replace and install them for life for $7.

If the amFilm doesn't hold up well or I can't get it on right I will take it to the Zagg kiosk. They have a digital cutter to make custom protectors and will likely already have a template.

That said I just put a cheap wHori plastic one on the Wii U, you know because I have two boys.

I screen protect all screens.
So i will have one day one.
I dont ever mess up my stuff like that but i say its always better to think ahead then be sorry

I will. I'm not going to buy a $300 console and then not purchase a $7.00 screen protector to protect it.

Every device I own has a case, screen protector, or case+screen protector.
Will definitely get the travel case, just not day one; screen protector before I buy Switch.

i wonder-
anybody know if there are any portable switch charger?
if not, ill just *try* and make my own

your europe link is glass your american link is standard cheapo plastic.
anyone still using plastic after glass was invented is crazy glass goes on perfectly first try never any bubbles and doesn't scratch or mark.

I'm getting a screen protector for the screen protector too, those hairline scratches would totally ruin my fun as I'd pause the gamr and keep matching it against a light source for hours while I torture my mind for not being able to go back in time.

you peel the broken glass one off and put on a new one
if you used a plastic one your screen would have broken
glass offers much better break protection then plastic
i used to have to replace my old screen protectors once a month because they'd get so scuffed up just by the stuff in my pockets i'd lose a terrible amount of visibility and the way it ended up feeling not so smooth.
same glass one has been on there for over a year now clear and smooth as day one.

fair point. plus glass would absorb some of the shock from the drop too...

I never thought about that. I have 48" vinyl cutter. I'm going to look into how much it costs to buy a roll of protective...stuff. I have a ton of devices, and half to most of them don't have liners on them. mostly because i never think about it, or am too lazy to order one, but if I have an entire roll then I could cut them out whenever I needed one. I used to use it to draw and cut out custom decals for people, but I make more money repairing electronics so I mothballed it. It would be nice to break it out again. Thanks for the idea.

That's kind of like buying a condom before you even ask the girl out on a date.
better safe then sorry :D

lol i do it all the time. I get screen protectors before i get my device.
That way the screen stays mint. Out the box the protector goes on.

But idk how he got the protector yet most arent shipping until mar
