Hi Everyone!

I had my wii running homebrew and was able to load backup ISO games just fine ,a few days ago I tried to install some wii games in a different format than my usual ISO format and followed some tutorial. It didn't work and now everytime I start USB loader I get returned to the home screen. If I use WiiFlow I can load two games (Zelda & mario party 8) but before I was able to load all my library .

I think I messed up somewhere, if someone can point me to the right direcction I would really appreciate it.

Heres my sysCheck:

What format? .wbfs? How did you try to install the games and how is your backup device partitioned and formatted?

my regular method is to download ISO files then put them into WBFS with with WBFS manager 3.0

the games that I was trying to install where WAD. I believe my storage unit is fat32

WAD files are archives of titles that run from the Wii's memory. They don't run the same way as disc images. You'll have to dump your NAND with something and install the WAD to it (or install it on your console.)

So I know this is an old thread, but was this one ever resolved? I'm having the same issue, but with all games attempted. SysCheck below:

While modmii would have you do more, the most important step can be accomplished by following this step: https://wii.guide/cios.html

Although I suggest you switch the bases, so 249 will use base 57, and 250 will use base 56. Not the end of the world if you don't, but you will end up having some games not work with the default cios installed to slot 249, and will have to change game specific settings to use 250. But if u install base 57 to slot 249 it should work in every case that base 56 would have also and then some.

Edit: you should also launch into priiloader and make sure you have enabled system menu hacks to block updates. If you have ever installed cios's before, they were stubbed/removed from an official update
