Well the New 3DS has the feature to automatically adjust the backlight based on the environment that you're in. Could it be that when NTR is enabled, it would automatically disable that N3DS feature? Seems like a plausible reason as to why it may have purposely been removed in N3DS models.

Even if that was the reason, i am one of those who really prefer to make these changes manually. If i decide the screen is too bright for me, it isn't exactly like the N3DS would know it is, because everyone has different Brightness preferences, and the N3DS cannot exactly guess my preference.

Update done, I confirm that the option is present on NTR 3.4 Preview 4.1 on Old3DS.

Hi @Nanquitas , thanks for replying. Yes i am using a New3DS with firmware 11.3.0-36E and using your BootNTR Selector (latest version) with the latest ntr.bin manually update to 3.4 Preview 4.1.
Avoid manually replacing the 3.3 and 3.4 binaries, they are patched by the Selector and replacing them can cause several issues.

Press Select while launching the app and keep it presses until the backgrounds are rendered to let the Selector replacing the files by a good patched one.
Note that from the 2.4.2, the 3.4 is the Preview 4.1.

Hey I understand. I'm just speculating as to why the option remains present on the O3DS but removed in the N3DS, I'm inclined to think that this wasn't so much a "bug" as it was something purposely removed for one reason or another. I couldn't tell you, you'd have to ask the developer of NTR CFW.

Don't worry, i understand, didn't mean to bash you, sorry.

And thanks @Nanquitas , so i should now just hold SELECT when opening BootNTR Selector and it will auto update to the update you just published then?

If you don't have the 2.5 press X to force the updater.

Else press Select.

The updater grab the last cia from my github, Select delete the config file and properly set the NTR's binaries.

Ok so i have 2.5 (i held X to update), it did that, then i canceled with B to restart the application, held SELECT to clear the config and let it set up the NTR binaries again, now i am on "NTR CFW 3.4 Preview 4.1" but it is still missing the "Backlight" feature. What now?
