Many thanks, I'll look into that as I remember it was spoken of a while back.

I'm surprised that given how open the 3ds is this is still an issue though.

It was an "issue" because people didn't want to develop this, as they knew it would only be mostly used for pirating.

Yes. But it would be nice to have them launch from the front end all official style instead of hanging around like bootleg raccoons.

Exactly. I run all my DS games off my Flashcard from the HomeMenu with Forwarders. It's the next best thing to running them straight from the SD card. You don't even have to boot you Card. (I do to play around with cheats now and then, which you can do with forwarders).

Yeah, TWLoader. But keep in mind the compatibility is low and if you want to play most games you might be better just buying a cheap flashcart.
