ShadowOne333 asked for it, mGBA would be different because it's more popular than Quake idk, the issue has been there for weeks now. If want to help you could test TyrQuake on your end and share your experience in the issue I opened, maybe if more people show interest in the core they will be more willing to fix it.

I'd best not say anything at all, to be honest.

mGBA is working now in the latest nightly?

@Marko76 are you checking the nightlies to see if TyrQuake has been fixed in any of the newest ones?
Sorry no been busy with work but I can check it out tomorrow.

Wanted to get a doubt the neo geo pocket emulator works? I open the rums here, only the white screen. Thank you very much in advance

So far, I have o2em, stella, and virtualjaguar all working. vecx still has a DSI error though. I'm going to work on a few more to add that aren't in the nightlies and get them working too.

BTW, I had never tried virtualjaguar before, but it runs pretty slow. I thought the emulation would be faster than that, it must need dynarec to run at the correct speed.
virtual jaguar even runs slow on pc, its a beta core becuase atari jaguar is very hard to emulate and requires a very beefy processor.

To make things worse, no one is interested in doing so, or even taking the time to write the cores to give them the speed boost. Frankly, I don't even know why they bother compiling the PSX core to be included with the others, just a waste of resources.
I don't know what that dynaric stuff is all about but don't we already have a smooth running PSX emu for vWii? That's PowerPC as well so "just" GX2 graphics and sound would have to get adjusted? I'm a bit confused.

yeah and wiisx uses dynarec codding to speed up emulation and dynarec codding depends on the emulator and system and needs alot of time to adjust it, i dont even know if wiisx dynarec would every be compatible with retroarch mednafen psx core since its not the same base emulator.

Agreed not that this is exactly on topic but there are many vwii emulators like wiisx not and so on.... can those not be recompiled to be wiiu apps, is the archecure just waaaaaaay different? I assume it's different three cores and all but wouldn't it just be recompiling the source with wii u libs and controller setup. Wish I knew shit for shit about programming.

wiiu has no GX processor acess on wiiu mode so no you cant port them and wiiu GX2 graphics processor is very very diferent.

But many games have graphics glitches (culling/depth issues, no v-sync and screen tearing, missing audio features, no XA-audio support, etc). It's dead in the water. The Mednafen PSX core for Wii U is trivial, IDK why they bother compiling it.

I'll continue playing PSX games on Retroarch pc version...

Good for you? This is for the Wii U version though.:ninja:

It's good that they compile it alongside the nightlies.
Why?
Because you never know when a coder gets his hopes up when he sees the PSX core there, realizes it's Pure Interpreter and out of frustration might want to code a dynarec for it

IDK man, I'm not holding my breath. Aliaspider has no interest in being someone who ports/writes dynarec code for the Mednafen core. IDK anymore  I just don't see the reason or logic behind having the core compiled, or even why there's an ELF version when the RPX core is the only version that works.

The last time someone "compiled" a working dynarec emulator (PJ64), it turned out to be a hoax.

Why are you always mentioning using the PC version on the Wii U version section?:ninja:

Anyways, back on topic, the Wii U port is solid as is. Will we get more cores? Only time will tell.
