Homebrew Error Loading Directory on Wii64/Not64 on Wii

So no matter what I do it seems like I can't get either app to load my roms. My problem is not in the app itself as that shows up in Homebrew, however, when I go to load a rom I get Error Loading Directory messaging telling me to put the roms in Apps/Wii64/Roms or whatever(Which I do!!) I have tried using multiple USBS and SD cards no luck on either Wii64 or Not64... I also have tried using .z64,.zip and .n64 files none of which have worked...

Is there maybe a way I'm supposed to convert the roms like you do with Gamecube ISOS in Nintendont with Disk.exe?? Is there an additional file I don't know about? Is there some type of weird thing I needed to do with my USB beforehand(I have a Fat32 USB one is 32 GB other is 64GB)

Ask me questions, to help you help me! Because I'm new to all this homebrew stuff and will appreciate anyone who can help me find a solution...

Roms should be .n64 files
Try putting roms in: X:/ wii64/ roms/ [games.n64]
Try downloading another version?

No luck still.... I just realized also when I click on settings.cfg in the General Setting of either app it says error saving settings.cfg to USB. I have no file like that in my apps is it supposed to be there??

Are .n64 rom files? Extract it if files are in .zip/rar.

Extracted em all not to long ago they all say N64 Files and are from backups I made*wink*(which these same roms worked on my emulator on my phone so I know there legit)

Nope! Is the correct format, but im still confused, i don't know why your wii don't run N64 roms files :s
Are you running Wii64 from HBL or Custom Channel? Most custom channels doesn't work... but HBL works perfect, but im confused now

I'm not sure what those are? I'm running it from Homebrew if that's what HBL is. Not64/Wii64 both boot up perfectly fine as does Snes9x and Nintendont but the difference being neither of the N64 Emulators will run roms :/

This is very rare...
Are you using HDD or SDHC (AKA Micro SD wth adapter) that doesn't work...
