The GC adapter works fine when navigating the menu in nintendont, but after loading paper mario TTYD it is unresponsive when asking for the progressive mode and doesn't work at the warning screen or intro.

Anyone know why? I've updated to the latest controllers zip and main program.

Make sure you don't have a wiimote or pro controller activated/plugged in.

I took the batteries out of the Wiimote and tried and still no luck. I also tried taking the batteries out before nintendont loaded. Pro controller battery is dead.

It's really strange that it works in the menu but not in game...

Are all the components you are using originals?

Hey thanks for the reply.

I asked in the nintendont thread and got it fixed. :D

Turned out it was a bug with updating the program while native control was turned on. I used the SD on an original Wii before using it on vwii. So I just needed to put it in the Wii, and turn it off.

Another thing that complicated it was that having a GC memory card or controller plugged in made the program automatically turn on native control when starting up even if you turned it off before. So you have to take out GC for controllers and cards before turning it off. :s

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
