Hacking Should i update my New3DS now?

Hi all, just got my New3DS from the mail and it came in 11.1.0-34U firmware. I have an broken Old 3DS XL i need to data transfer to it, it's 11.2.0-35U.
Thing is, i want to try some of the cool emulators for N3DS, so i need an entrypoint to HBC, there's one currently for 11.2.0-35U? Should i update my New3DS so i can do data transfer?
I don't have Cubic Ninja, Freakyforms nor Ironfall, i do have Zelda OoT physical.

I'd do it. You don't even need a game for 11.2 because you can simply launch the homebrew launcher through the sound app (soundhax)

I would suggest updating to 11.2, and hacking it all the way to a9lh for emulators/games. https://3ds.guide/ should help you with that.

No real reason to be scared as long as don't skip steps. Just follow 3ds.guide
