Hacking [Help] Removing Parental Controls on under 13 NNID

So, I was going to install a9lh + luma for my young cousin, however his NNID is set to an account under the age of 13 so I can't remove the parental controls of his 3ds to proceed to the 2.1 CTR transfer (I know the PIN). What should I do?

You can call Nintendo and they can remove it

Or ask the person who set it to put it in. If theyre gullible, Just say it won't let me update my game unless you put in the pin.

Or if they're understanding enough, just say you want to hack it so he can have even more fun with it.

If they're cheapskates, just say "you never have to spend another dollar on a 3ds game for him"


Or If its even possible, just remove the nnid. Once you set it up your nnid won't matter. As long as the data is still on the SD, nnid dosent mean crap

And search in the search box parental controls. The first link will be forgot pin. Click that.
Follow the onscreen instructions, and click no I don't have email. After following along, youll end up with an inquiry number. Put that into the web page they provide. Then you'll be prompted to either chat or call a Nintendo rep, choose chat, and the man/woman should give you the master reset key.

But that's the official way of doing it, this may work by just punching in the inquiry key.

Dont quite understand, you dont know the code, or you cant input the code? if its the first, just keep pressing i dont know, until you get a master number, and post it here, ill give u the code.

I solved the issue by formatting. My issue (stupid one I know) was that I couldn't remove Parental Controls since even with the correct PIN you can't remove parental controls if the device is linked to a user who is under 13 years old with a NNID. The guide had a warning about removing parental controls, so I was kind of worry. Thanks for the tips though!
