Well I am downloading and doing some tests. I will post soon!

Hmmmmm, new user + only one post + submitting a strange file...
now 2 posts...

tomorrow is a new day... and i still here.

i´m testing.
It's very good to remember the games of Taito...

Well, VFBA runs excellent so far. I threw Garou and Kizuna encounter and both ran 60/60 fps.

Havein account that when you enter on the configscreen and return to the game, the audio desyncs a bit with the game. Just exit the rom and enter it again (it saves the settings for each rom).

Searching for 3S and more CPS3 to see....

CPS3 have 35 roms and i have some roms thats work. like " redearth and street fighter, jojo...etc"

Well CPS3 runs like at 10 fps so... Oh well, big Neogeo games run well. And it is easy to setup and config,I think a step up from RA.

Thanks, Leunamm. I appreciate the assistance!

Also! I've got this working, BUT know that the emulator doesn't recognize the UR: pocket folder that's on the Vita. You can enter it into the ROM path (there's up to four of them in the config file) but it gets ignored. For now, just use the default ROM folder. (ux0:/data/pfba/roms/)

Ok, having a blast with NeoGeo so far.

Two things:

the audio desync happens even if you DONT enter the config while in game, so IDK. Tried disabling the "Force 60hz" but still.

Second: How to enable picture previews?

One important note: you probably need to update your CPS2 files if it's been a while. This version of Final Burn Alpha requires a key that only recent ROMs have... if it can't locate them, it will crash.

Anyway! I'm dinking around with this version of Final Burn, and I'm liking it so far. It does a really nice job of resizing graphics so they fill the screen without looking distorted or ugly. I don't know how he does it, but it looks pretty sweet.

At least, on RA, run about 40-45 fps lol. Can you try w/o sound?

This supports Genesis, ColecoVision, and Turbografx as well! I haven't tried any of those, but having them available all in one emulator is a plus.

Hi,

In fact cps3 on RA and PFBA have similar speed on cps3 games (slow). PFBA does skip more frame but try to process all audio frames so a game can be playable with no audio crackling starting from ~30 fps. If you want to compare speed you should try without audio which will render all video frames it can.
The games that will run faster than RA are games using the arm m68k core cyclone like cps1, 2, neogeo, cave etc.. (Most already runs fullspeed on RA but without shading/effects).

To summarize you should not except major speed improvement over RA, it just offer different options (gui, shaders, configuration, arm/asm on m68k games etc).

Else the emulator should be accepted really soon at the contest so vpk will soon be easily available.
