I finally got my hands on a .cia for Pokemon moon 1.1, but I cant unpack it. I need someone to decrypt it for me. anyone up for it? pm me an email and ill send it.

quick update, found a cia for it. (Thanks KunoichiZ) there is an issue, however. when you view it in FBI, it says the version is 1024, not 1072, and on the home menu, it says there is an update avaliable. does anyone know how to change this? it works fine, and i now have a no-lines patched moon game without HANS, but the update notice is rather annoying.

The updates work fine. Just install them. I have and I have not experienced the update nag.

Yeah you literally just use the same one from Pokemon Moon or Sun not the update :P and just fix the changed offsets for whatever you are patching into it.

ok. i have a backup .cia anyway. might as well test it out. while I'm here, does anyone have the .ogg for the red/blue battle music? (assuming its in .ogg format.)

Well that's fine too.

just tried it. it did overwrite my patch. i think i might know a fix for my custom update's version error though. I'm using hackingtoolkit3ds to compile it, but i don't know what macro and minor versions are. anyone else know?

You're over complicating it. Just use a patched code.bin FROM the update cia with SaltySD. It's 100x easier than rebuilding a custom update. I mean obviously it's your choice I just personally see no reason to do that whatsoever Lol.

but its a lot more fun. ;) and i figured it out anyway. it was indeed the micro/minor versions thing.

also, this way I can cut out using hans or a similar injector and just tap the cartridge icon.
