Hey! So, I have an Old3DS, bought when they we're first released, so that might be the problem here. A couple of days ago I first tried to install homebrew, and after some tries i've successfully installed stuff using this guide (it's in spanish): http://www.elotrolado.net/hilo_tuto-cargar-backups-despues-de-instalar-safehax_2210550 It is a SafeHax + Luma3DS install on 11.2.

The thing is, I tried running this games (I made sure they we're the correct region version): Super Mario Maker, Pokémon Moon, Pokémon Mega Mystery Dungeon, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3DS, Retro City Rampage: DX and a couple of virtual console games. That being said, all of them worked except for the two first ones, which after the Nintendo3DS logo message appears they stay stuck in a black screen, and i'm only able to power off the console (can't even press the home button).

I've been lurking over the internet for information, and i've learned that they both are extended RAM games, but not much more. What is causing this problem and how can I solve it? Thanks in advance!

Update your luma version. Afaik, that happend with some releases, but not the last.
Also, don't follow guides from that site. You have 3ds.guide, or scene3ds.com in spanish.

No, i've followed the guide BUT i downloaded all the files from the original pages (github in Luma3DS case), so that shouldn't be the problem here. And i'm sure that this method works because a friend of mine did exactly the same as me and Extended RAM games work on his New3DS.

Don't trust guides from that sites. Really.
Also, they work form him because he's using N3DS, not O3DS. It's quite diferent, you know?
So I'm reading that horrible guide, and it don't even install A9LH! Please, use a real guide and then ask.

This is a english speaking comunity, so speak in english please.
You won't have the problem you mention because you are using a O3DS, so not a chance you brick if you close your console in 2.1.
There will be no problem, and if you have more questions, we can guide you from here, or the author and me can also do it in Twitter.

Sure, no problem on speaking in english. When step 2 finishes it tells me that I have to extract my SD card because if don't do so the console won't launch in version 2.1. But in the next step it tells me that I must have the SD card introduced in the console. Do I have to insert it after opening the console?

Also, I gotta leave now, I'll try that this afternoon and if I encounter a problem i'll tell it here. Aaaaand, should I use the DCIM and NINTENDO 3DS folders that were in the SD before I did any modification, or are they present in the files that site tells me to download too?

Use your own folders, but make sure you have enough space in your SD.
You'll have to take out the SD when you re-start after the CTRNAND Transfer has finished and it tell you to press start, but when you are in 2.1 and the menu has loaded, you must put your SD in your 3DS again in order to do the next steps.

Sure. So I have to extract it before I press start, or right after I press start, before the console boots?

Remove the sd card before restarting the console. Reinsert it when you open up the browser app on your 3ds.

It really does not matter. I personally do it before pressing start in work, but if you are fast enough, you can do it the other way too.
Sure. After step 4 it tells something about a backup done before, the backup is already explained before in the guide? And I have to extract the SD while in the Decrypt9 menu?

Also, the last step is for installing Luma3DS in the intern memory and that I can start the nintendo without the SD afterwards. Why would I want to start it without the SD card?

1: The prgress itself do the backup (it's the first thing, it should be in files9 as nandmin.bin).
2: Well, if you come day want to start it up without it because you need it, or because you wanna sell it, then you have that option. Also, if the 3DS is not able to read the SD for whatever reason, then the 3DS itself won't start and it'll look like it's bricked.
