Oh, a Mii Icon. Guess they are still using Miis. I mean, I hope that icon reflects my custom Mii.
The home menu looks like a demo kiosk menu of some sort
and the keyboard looks like a android keyoard a little bit
and the keyboard looks like a android keyoard a little bit
I just noticed on the menu that there are three icons: A mario , a link and a mii icon. Could this mean we could use images instead of miis :0?

Well that's probably the case unfortunately because there's going to be a parental controls app on android or ios once the switch launches....
I like this minimalistic approach.

having no browser is good because usually when nintendo does put a browser on the system it's slow or doesn't work with many pages
Disagree. I would be really surprised, if a browser doesn't show up at or near launch.

I think it looks lame. Maybe themes will help with it, if they decide to make themes a thing again?
But browsers also provide great homebrew entrypoints.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.+1 -

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.
The issue is DRM -

You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
