So, I'm sure I'm not the only one who has been hyped for the event. Me and a couple of online friends chatted and watched the reveal together..And I must say, I wasn't impressed as I thought I'd be. The paid online service sort of turned me off, along with the game where you play without the screen and all the small gimmicks. But there were a few cool things, like the games. My gosh, the games! The new mario game, shin megami, skyrim. They were all good. Including no more heroes 3. I want so bad.

What are your thoughts? Was it everything you had hoped for?

Really dissapointed in the reveal. Mario is almost unrecognizable anymore. Gimmicky games like 1 2 switch and arms. Rehashed Skyrim (like most people haven't already had their fill). Paid online services for having never offered a real online solution for a home console. At least the region free thing was a surprise. I can honestly say I only care about Breath of the Wild (which will be released in holiday 2017 at the earliest). I will not ever pay 299.99 for this system.

the Breath of the wild trailer look really interesting. That gerudo girl (I'm assuming she's a gerudo.) caught my eye.

Mario looked good. Though the fact their are real people is so strange.
Xenoblade 2 was a shock. I loved the first one.
Fire Emblem Warriors...meh I'm thinking hyrule warriors? I'm done with those games for about 2 years.
Dragon Quest 10 and 11..I'm a fan though I really need to play the others.
shin megami tensei and octoexpolyer(spelling that wrong) - octoexpolyer looked good. never been a shin megami tensei beyond persona...find them harder then balls

Wow skyrim on this thing?? Then again played enough for one life time.

Nintendo killed me with The Super Mario Odyssey release date. Holidays on 2017, Screw You Nintendo.

Was planning on pre-ordering... now I'm not so sure.
I think I'll still get it. Though, the entire reveal was just...EH. I think they talked about things I didn't really care about. The early trailers made it seem like it was a console that would appeal to everyone, but it just ended up looking like family friendly crap.

Typical Nintendo only revealing so much info. Looked like Mario Kart has proper battle modes though, that's awesome. Mario looks fantastic. Splatoon 2 of course looks like a lot of fun. The 2 new throwaway IPs look forgettable, but maybe they'll be alright, spent way too much time on them though. Great that Zelda is a launch title, that's awesome, comes out in like a month and a half. So many questions left unanswered, is Mother 3 coming out? Are Gamecube games indeed coming to the virtual console? What about Smash and Mario Maker? I'd give the presentation a B overall. Still excited for the Switch, but not exactly the reveal I was hoping it would be.

Any hardware specs? Yeah it has touch and fancy controls but what is with the real ones like resolution and tflops :D

I on the other hand was deply impressed. I had low expectations and the gimmiky games and online pay turned me off. But when the third party started rolling, the mario game and that hell of a slamdunk ending... I got sold.

But... where is the hardware specs?
