Hello,
because i/we can't find a solution for my strang booting problem (http://gbatemp.net/threads/blackscreen-but-sound-from-home-menu-theme.455176/) I want to reset my n3dsxl to factory-ish settings (removing a9lh, 9.2 or newer firmware (so I can send it in for a repair/replacement).

so how to do this?

1) restore the NANDmin.bin 9.2. via decrypt9wip without the "keep a9lh"?
2) update (via L+R+A+UP) and uninstall a9lh via safeA9LHinstaller-payload
3) copy arm9loaderhax.bin into ctrnand (with godmode9 explorer) (so I can boot without sd but nintendo should be able to check this?)

thanks for your help :)

I actually had a similar problem to this and it turned out to not be related to the software. It actually turned out to be completely hardware related. In my case it turned out to be my wireless antenna was broken. I've also heard this issue being linked to the wireless card being loose.

wireless is working but maybe it's the camera, but I still got warranty so I don't want to open it yet
Sounds hardware related to me too but to remove A9LH all you have to do is restore your pre-A9LH NAND backup.
so just restore 9.2 via decrypt9 without a9lh restore (not the "keep a9lh" option) right?

Just saying this, not that you should do this, but just to put it out there. You could always use sysDowngrader to go to 9.2.0 and then use a very old version of AuReiNAND and use the safe mode feature to update and remove a9lh lmao.
That is, if you can boot your 3DS and don't have pre-a9lh backup.

or just use the uninstall button in safea9lhinstaller...

I guess that works too

CTRtransfer to 9.2, SafeA9LHInstaller to uninstall.

Apparently only on 9.2, even though you already has kernel9.
