Weeeelllll.... I don't know :P.

On the 3ds.... I just hacked it when I buyed it,because it was possible... But here, maybe I'll buy SOME game (e.g. super mario galaxy 3,mario kart, super smash) and wait for hax XD.

that's just supply and demand. Demand remains higher on older Nintendo games than other developers.
That may be the case, but that is also the reason why I'm not interested in their new console.

If I ever get the console I would pirate all games if possible. The general idea of the console looks dumb though, so I probably would never get it.

That's kinda backwards logic. Your passing on a console because the games hold up so good that people are willing to pay full price indefinitely? That's the makings of a console where you should actually be preordering all the time. They're not going to go down, so might as well enjoy it right away

buy new those games I want to support, buy used/hack games I don't really care about. Not really sure why the switch would be different than any other system. A new system isn't going to change anyone's previous perspectives.

I probably won't buy the console until it's at least cheaper. Buying a newly released console is dumb, you're more likely to get a broken console, it's more expensive and there will be less games!

As for the question, ofc I'm gonna hack my console and pirate all da games! I have no moral qualms :)

There's one teensy little problem with that.
The switch may only support MicroSD, not USB. Even if you go legitimate your memory will get bogged down by a couple third party AAA titles.

like always i will buy games up until piracy is easy and convenient then sell said games to buy a second console and get my yar har har on with 1 of 2 consoles . . . that is until advancements in modding let me hack both then i hack the old one and give it to a buddy and we both pillage and plunder

You still have the same problem. A 256GB MicroSD is at least $200 while games may be 30-60GB, and there's no such thing as a 512GB MicroSD.

Of course I would buy original games, what kind of question is this?
Do you think someone stops buying original games only because they softmoded a console?
Big no. If you like a game you buy it, seriously what kind of question...
I buy original games too dude i only use piracy for nintendont or wii games and a lot of peaple in my country(Brazil) dont buy original games, because the price is too shi*

No, I'm passing on a console that might offer some fun games but not at a price I find to be justifiable given my current gaming budget. I will still play fun games, just not on a Nintendo platform.

What is your definition of an original game?

Just hearing that makes me want to pirate.

Also the choice to softmod you assume is only for pirating and nothing else. So I guess I'm not allowed to use homebrew unless I intend to steal.

We call legit games "original" games in Brazil, because piracy was so rampant here that original games became rarity and have only started to go mainstream recently.

EDIT: Just realized I said original myself. All those years from buying burned PS2 copies in the markets back in our commie days lol.

Or just get a 200gb micro sd off Amazon for 65 dollars? Plus, I am patient with the hacks, I'm sure they'll think up something good, until then, I can play all da PC games for nothing :D

Some things about piracy is good (for example Nintendont allow you play gc games in your wii/wii u) but others is not good
