Don't follow the guide if you just want to use a new microSD, just copy everything from your current microSD to the new.

A important tip. Check if your sd card is genuine.
I could make the tutorial , but I found that my microsd is a fake when I filled it up.
The sd card freezes and stopped working at all. Give me a black screen .
I just put the original with the files, that I previus backup and its fine now.

but step 26 won't happen. MY 3DS ISN'T starting. :'(

the blue light(ON indicator) flashes for a second but it won't start.

please help.

does this have to do anything with me not deleting files from old homebrew?

everything went right until that very step,
once i copied up_Decrypt9WIP file into lume>payload folder, its happening since then.

[I didn't put my ds to sleep during any time while doing this]

Run chkdsk on your sdcard, probably just a bad unmount.

Probably should still run chkdsk but just tick all the boxes and save if it lets you

Thank you very much. I did that and successfuly installed it, but still.. the H&S Information app loads when I open it. Is there another way to load FBI so that I can install the HBL?

Could it be because I have GWEmuNand installed?

Try to copy the contents of this zip to the root of your microSD, excluding the arm9loaderhax.bin and try again.
