Hardware 3DS update?

I have a new 3ds with the kernel exploit on 11.2. I'm getting a system update notification, but I'm on the latest FW, what's going on, and what should I do? Nintendo says the latest FW is 11.2

You might have deleted or altered something that your 3DS wants to update/restore. If you have A9LH and Luma3DS installed, there's no harm in updating.

There is no update, you probably deleted or downgraded a system app. The update is safe to do. Go on to System Settings>Other Settings>System Update and tell me if it says "You do not need to be connected to the internet"

It is safe to update. 11.2 is still the latest. Even if it weren't, it would be safe to update if you were using A9LH and Luma3DS.

Yeah probably just an app update, safe to do. It would say "Not connected to the internet if it's an app like Sound or Camera", Go ahead and do the update since A9LH and Luma aren't affected

OP never said he has A9LH installed, but 11.2 is the latest version regardless.

Yeah I know but I'm just saying as a precaution plus he said he had a kernel exploit and that 9 times out of 10 means it is A9LH

Update it. It'll just redownload it and reinstall it
