Hacking Arm11.bin from github just completely freezes, pressing select does nothing...?

As the title says, tried the new guide to get my 3ds on cfw and when I get to the part about connecting to the a9lh installer github it ALWAYS freezes everything upon loading the app. Top screen freezes including clock and battery icon. Pressing select and waiting even for several minutes gives me no OTP.bin. I am downgraded to 2.1 on a new3dsxl. There is one other small thing though, inside the Nintendo 3ds folder there appears to be a problem. Pic included.

Oh I've done that a few times. I've honestly tried that part of the tutorial a few times. I even redownloaded all the files and tried again. Some of the stuff was updated mere hours ago though so...

WELL IM FUCKED ANYWAY. Since my nand backup fucking vanished from 3 fucking places.

Take the SD Card out and download the A9LHinstaller files again.
Put it in your 3ds,wait a minute an then type the url in

Have you done this part? Also have you tried booting up your 3ds without the sd card in, once booted to home menu insert then carry on

Have you tried backing up the contents of your SD card, reformatting your SD card, and starting over this guide from the beginning, redownloaded everything?

I'm having the same issue. The page loads, says "loading arm9.bin" or whatever and ends up freezing my system. This is how my screen looks every time:

I've followed plailect's guide blindly until now and everything went well so far.
Really glad I'm not alone with this.

No, I mean backup the contents of your SD card, format the SD card, and redo the A9LH installation guide from the beginning as if you haven't done it before, redownloading all the files in the guide.

Wouldn't that just result in me redowngrading to 2.1 from 2.1? I really can't afford to be fucking around with this. I'm not exactly rich.

You push select on that glitches screen, and shut down. Then you have your otp.bin in the a9lh folder.

Tell that to the million times I did that and got no otp.bin.

no, thats just a clean sd card to begin with ....2.1 was one step before this ...

The A9LH installation guide doesn't include the 2.1 ctrnand transfer guide, so no, you're not redowngrading. Backup your SD card, format it completely, and redo from the beginning this guide. Redownload anything you need for the guide.
