where are now the general settings in the new xmb ??? in latest nigthlies dont appear the options and i cant enable analog pad or put the screen on 16:9

could you help me

Can someone tell me which is the best SNES emulator for 3ds SNES9x or catsfc...

catsfc (now called snes9x 2005 in the nightlies). if you have a O3DS i'd recommend SNES9x for Old 3DS

It seems there's way more screen tearing on catsfc

only on the stable builds. and since it's disappeared from the latest nightlies i could upload the cia from the 11-15-2016 nightly that i had backed up if you need it.

Thanks for the offer, for now I'm sticking with .3dsx if anyone has that I'd appreciate it. The latest nightlies are unusable sadly.

Does update to 11.2 while on A9LH + Luma break retroarch? I tried the latest stable and the famous 1.3.3 stable and i always get kicked back to homescreen with "an error occurred" message on every core I've tried so far......

Did you try updating to the latest version of Luma?

Do someone know why PCSX cia (PS1) is missing from the latest nightly build?

I can't seem to use the dosbox RetroArch on my 3ds. I've tried the .3dsx version through the homebrew channel which goes to a red screen on the bottom display, and the .CIA version which was stuck on the Nintendo 3DS loading screen.

Am I doing anything wrong? I put the RetroArch folder on the root of the SD card and the dosbox core folder with the .3dsx file in the 3ds folder.

I'm a bit confused. I have a New 3DS with latest firmware and I've been using .3DSX files but I've heard .cia runs faster. Is that true?

Cias do not run faster than 3dsx.

-Picodrive
-gpsp
-PSX Rearmed

These cores can run with dynarec enabled for increased performance, but can only do so in cia form. Having said that, your mileage may vary with PSX performance regardless and dynarec makes gpsp crash.

a noob question.
How to install the cia version of retroarch.

I'm using 2DS, luma CFW, Sys 11.2.0-35U.
I downloaded the nightly build of retroarch.
One cia folder and one retroarch folder.

I copied the retroarch folder to the root of my SD card.
Now, do I need to install all the cia files in the cia folder, there are one retroarch.cia and others are cia file of cores.
I tried only installed the retroarch.cia and whenever I open it got an error message that the SD card has been removed.
So do I need to install all the core cia files?

Cheers

not all of them, only the cores you want to use. it's not possible to use the retroarch all-in-one core without having the other cores you want to use installed on the home menu.

Are the latest nightlies working properly (know bugs aside)? I've not updated since early December because the nightlies seem to break so often.

Thank you very much.
Should I start the retroarch from retroarch.cia or the core cia?

Whichever you want. The 'all-in-one' core isn't a true all-in-one core like on other platforms and relies on the other cores to work.

I put all the individual cores into a folder and just use the main all-in-one loader, but you can just load the individual cores and it will do the same thing.

I tried to start from retroarch.cia but always black back to the home menu. the core cia fies are fine.
