Hacking [Guide] Install a9lh without buying anything in 11.2

It's because the files that different things/exploits load are essentially hard coded:
via browser loads /arm9.bin /arm11.bin
via a9lh loads /arm9loaderhax.bin by default
via payloads /luma/payloads/*_*.bin

There's also .dat and .nds files - and all tools that can be loaded in different ways typically compile all the versions and release them in 1 zip.

the /luma/payloads are a9lh payloads. Only difference is that you're not booting them by default, but rather with Luma's payload (forgot the exact name).

Hi again. I was retrying step 15 for multiple times, for about 10, when i gave up and updated my system. Now, when I start the system, its a solid black with only the blue light on. Any way to fix this?

NEVER UPDATE! go back to the firmware as that is that is your only hope. but don't do it yet. as im not smart with this

So I actually solved the "problem" with the multiple flashing color screen, since it was no real issue at all. After successfully running the arm11 installer due to the black screen fix, it all worked out well and after the sysnand restore the menu screen is back to normal.

Try to delete the 0000008f folder again.

For anyone else waiting on the Safehax fix for being stuck at a black screen (people who the workaround doesnt work for, or dont have access to a game cart) TiniVi just added a "Help Wanted" tag to the posted Issue about the bug on his Github...so he isnt having any luck resolving it at the moment

Things have gone well so far but I'm currently stuck at the injecting the FBI part of the guide. I followed the steps but I still launched to stock Health and Safety App instead of what was meant to be the FBI. I followed the troubleshoot to move the .tmd and .app files to a new directory, but that didn't work, so I moved them back to their original directory. I tried again to dump and inject into the Health and Safety but this time it failed.

Now for some reason the stock Health and safety app refuses to open and gives an error. Anyone got any tips? Its frustrating having gotten all this way only to trip at the final hurdle. At least my 3DS is still functional and hasn't bricked haha.

Oh, sorry about that, guess I edited my post too late. I just added to my initial post that before I found out that my stock Health and safety app wasn't working I had tried to inject the FBI again and it failed, I'll try and upload a screenshot.

Google "that iso site" and search for freeshop. For tickets, search "that titlekey site" and put the direct link to the entitlekeys in the freeshop config.

You don't need it,just install FBI 2 from hombrew FBI in the hbl.

I was trying all tips posted above, but they are not working. I tried inserting multiple game cartridges, booting my n3ds without sd, and more. I think it had bricked somehow. Would i have to hardmod, repair, or just can i follow a tutorial online to remove it manually?
