Homebrew didn't make a nand back up, am i F***ed?

was following paliacts guide, and i assumed backing up was optional for the nand. now i'm at a point where i need to restore a nand back up and i don't have one. is there a way to undo this, get back to 2.1, reupdate, and repeat all the steps again to downgrade? or will i need a hardmod?

Without a NAND backup, a hardmod won't restore your console.

Did you successfully install A9LH? In other words, does your 3DS boot Luma3DS when you first turn it on?

There's your problem.

Your only option is to do a 9.2.0 ctrtransfer. Did you do a backup of your tickets?

Without a backup, there's nothing to restore. Follow the above advice to update your 3DS to 11.2.

Your best/perhaps only option would be to update to 11.2. You're lucky you can downgrade that now lol
