Hacking [Guide] Install a9lh without buying anything in 11.2

As a newcomer I'd appreciate screenshots of certain steps, if possible.

The guide is very detailed and the most detailed I have found so far for 11.2. However, as a newcomer there are a lot of keywords that I do not understand. I could simply go for it and try to follow every step as described, but I'd like a bit more understanding before I attempt it, since there is a chance to brick, as I read above.

I did flash and mod consoles before, so I am not a complete noob at this. However, I am completely new to the 3ds modding scene as I was locked out of any kind of modding until Soundhax was released.

I appreciate your work and I understand that you are still editing and polishing the guide. I would really appreciate if you could add some screenshots just to be able to compare if everything goes as it should, since inexperienced users have not used most of those files so far.

I'm running a N3DS at 11.2.0-35E and I was just able to install my first Legit CIAs last night (described the steps in a guide). Being able to install a CFW (I'm assuming Luna3DS is a CFW, if I understood people on this forum correctly?) without DSiWare is a blessing.

just curious I am new to this hacking scene why go down to 2.1 when I seen youtube guides for installing arm9 on 9.2 and luma cfw is 2.1 safer btw I have 2ds on 11.2.035u

Those who install a9lh on 9.2 use the old OTPless method, which was deemed unsafe. You go to 2.1 to get your otp.bin, needed to install a9lh.

I was actually able to get it to boot into the black screen for step 15 after copying everything in the folder to the sd card since hold start while powering the 2ds back on did not work. Though I got a red error saying: "Error: Secret_sector.bin doesn't exist or has a wrong size." now. Sorry to keep bothering you, this is all new too me since the last thing I've hacked was when I had a psp.
