i used the Luma3dsupdater, and it seem to have messed up my current installation of Luma3Ds, all i get after rebooting my system is a Black Screen, unless i replace the "arm9loaderhax.bin" file on my Micro SD Card, it doesnt boot and each time i want to start the system i have to keep replacing the "arm9loaderhax.bin" file.

edit: This is the last time i ever, ever use Luma3DSupdater, as it seems to be a trap, infact as soon as i fix this problem i am uninstalling the Luma3dsupdater cia file.

Manually download it from the luma3ds github release instead then, or use the nightlies. Probably because you're using the nightlies

I use "lumaupdater.cia" to update, never had an issue. It just runs, updates and reboots as it should. Maybe check the version of the the updater you're using and see if it's the latest? Other than that I don't see how it's a trap, works fine for my brothers and I on our 2DSes.

i used the updater that was included on the 3ds.guide site

im going to just go ahead and run H2TestW on this Micro SD Card. just to see if it's the Micro SD Card or something else.

I don't know when you downloaded it but as long as you used the one from August 27, 2016 you should have the latest version(1.4.2). I've used it on 4 different 2DSes after I've installed A9LH and Luma3DS and they all updated fine for me. That's why I thought I'd ask if it was the latest version as an older version might now work properly if at all.

i have the latest one, any idea if re-hacking the N3DS is possible, maybe that would fix things.?

Sure. Try doing a 9.2.0 ctrtransfer and then follow the arm9loaderhax installation again.

https://3ds.guide/9.2.0-ctrtransfer
hey i ran into this problem, Failed, Image corrupt of Modified
Auto CTRNAND Transfer failed

Edit:

I just uhh got it to install with another Micro SD Card, but that means the one ive been trying to use is fake? but it works, how can it be fake i dont think it's fake the writing on the Micro Sd Card doesnt look fake.
