[Note: This is all on sysNAND]

OK so I had haxchi channel working nicely (using Dr. Kawashima). I decided to install some eShop games and forgot I had and eShop download of Dr. K also on my SD. So I sig patched the nand and then started WUP, selected all and boom, error. Can't remember the error it said on WUP (I didn't write it down, but said something about sig patching).

No big deal I thought. Delete, go to eShop and re-down. ERROR. 105-3687. Restarted, tried again. Same error.

I read a lot of useless posts on gba but I remember one guy having a similar issue and he fixed it by deleting the tik [yes, that was an intentional dig at shit posters :P ]. They are stored here:

/vol/system_slc/rights/ticket/apps/

In my particular case it was then in folder /0005/0000001d.tik

I know this because I had already run tik2sd and had a copy of all my tiks. I thought I could just re-up my original tik but then I thought that would change the permissions on the file (which I can also change but...well, six of one, half a dozen of the other). So I deleted the tik using wupclient, rebooted unit, went to eShop and re-downloaded & installed game.

FIXED.

Great.

Hope it might help anyone else if they have the same error because there is nothing about this error on the internet I could find.

Obviously, be careful if you are not good with wupclient and don't just delete random shit!

Before you delete the tik file, you should ensure that it contains only the single ticket (696/848 bytes) you're looking for. If there's more than one ticket in the file, you'll have to edit the file instead (or remove and reinstall the other title(s) too.)

So you are saying the .tik file can hold more than one tik? Never seen that. Or do you mean folder when you say file?

do you have any tubehax like dns set ?

i randomly get errors even when i use the internet browser at times , and the fault is always the alternative to tubehax dns that i use (the same thing happened with the tubehax dns).

after i changed it to 'auto obtain dns' the browser pages loaded up just fine.

Er? What? did you read my post? Nothing to do with tubehax or DNS. Which bit didn't you understand exactly?

Yes. There's some hash algorithm that sorts the tickets into buckets. Fortunately, the single tickets are just one after another in the file, so it's relatively easy to split them out.

For example, my Mario Kart update (0005000e1010ec00) and Legend of Kay main title (0005000010193400) both live in 000f/00000010.tik

Good to know! Better go and check lol. Might have to reinstall something :)

Nice one, I just checked. I was lucky and my one was on its own :)

I have the above error code, telling me data is corrupt, for Yoshi T&G. Haxchi worked fine initially, following day the icon has reverted to the original game, and now YT&G will fail to re-download on every attempt. Is wupclient what is used to access system memory files, and how would I go about finding the correct Yoshi T&G data to delete? I have no idea how this happened so I'd rather not potentially waste another £10 by adding more credit to my wallet, and have it happen again.

Sorted! I was pretty sure the original download had left some un-deleted data on my system so i just bought a different exploitable DS title and haxchi now works fine. I was getting antsy thinking Nintendo might learn about the DS gateway and remove their entire DS library from the eshop, leaving me s.o.l, wouldn't put it past them.

I'm having the exact same error (on european wii u) because I installed Dr. Kawashima installed with the sign patch fw.img and wupinstaller. I too want to delete that ticket but it seems vague on what exactly to do and where to get the proper wupinstaller files to get haxchi working. Any help with this would definitely be appreciated. (the free dr. K is probably temporary and so is not having to worry about installing a system update)

1. run tik2sd. check your title id on wii u title database and search text file on your sd card that tik2sd created. this tells you where the tik is stored
2. use wupclient or ftpii everywhere or whatever method you prefer to download tik.
3. check if ticket is single tik, or multi tik. if single, just delete it. if multi, splice it, I.e. remove only the tik you dont want or delete entire tik but keep notes of title ids cos you would need to reinstall them all.
4. dont use wup to install dr. k. go on eshop, download and install.
5. make sure dr k is on sysnand. unplug usb. run haxchi installer.
6. done.

@Robstim Since you're going to unplug USB anyway, shut down and do it before going on eshop. That way the title has no choice but to install on sysnand.

Hello, I have a problem, I have a physical mario kart 8 with the original dlc installed. By mistake I re-installed them using wcf and now I have error 105-3687
I understand the problem so I want to delete the unofficial dlc ticket. But I do not know how to do it. I read all the explanation but I do not know how to use wupclient to do that.
Thank you.

What cfw are you using? (cbhc, haxchi sysmenu, sigpatcher, mocha, someone's fw.img?)

1st I would like to thank icw35 for a quick tutorial on removing the ticket file from my wiiu. I was able to reinstall my game from the eshop. I did the same thing you did by installing my game with wup from the sd card by mistake. Now this is my problem and not sure if I need to make a new post for this. Here goes. I originally had Haxchi installed on my wiiu by using someone else's fw.img and booting into iosuhax. The game I purchased from the eshop was Phantom Hour Glass. Everything was working great until I screwed up and installed Phantom Hour Glass from sd card. After that was installed I lost haxchi on the home screen. This is when I tried to uninstall Zelda game and reinstall thinking that would fix my problem. When trying to redownload Zelda game I kept getting the error code in this post. So then I purchased a new eshop game, Brain Age train your brain and tried to reinstall Haxchi. Haxchi would say it was done installing, and then freeze on the done screen. I would then have to reset the wiiu, and everytime it started up brain age would still be on the home screen. If i launch brain age it will still launch the game and not haxchi. I've tried to install haxchi numerous times and same thing happens every time. I even uninstalled brain age more than once and reinstalled it with the same results. After doing this a couple times I looked up the error code and found this post. I followed icw35 instructions on removing zelda ticket and was then able to finally download and reinstall my game. I tried haxchi install again with zelda and same results. Always says that it installed haxchi and then it would freeze on that screen. Any help would be great, because as you all know booting into homebrew launcher 1.4 with loadiine.ovh is a pain if it works.

First make sure these games are on sysnand and not usb. If on usb, move to sys or delete from usb. Second, remove usb drive, then try and install haxchi again. Let us know how that goes.

First make sure these games are on sysnand and not usb. If on usb, move to sys or delete from usb. Second, remove usb drive, then try and install haxchi again. Let us know how that goes.

The game is on my sysnand. I have also removed the flash drive from usb. This is what happens when i try to install haxchi, it will reset once and goes right back to this screen. I then have to reset the wiiu and the game still remains the same.
