I've had a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (Model Number is Sm-T580) running on Android and I tried using Wii Remotes, PS4 controllers, and Xbone controllers with the .emu apps and they won't connect. Any help?

Are you turning on Bluetooth and the controllers and expect them to auto-connect?

Yes: That's not how it works bud. I don't use any of the emulators you have installed, but I'm very familiar with using a Ps3 controller on an Android device and it requires extra steps before you even even use it (for example: You need to change the Master on the Ps3 controller to your Bluetooth Address using a PC or you can use a Usb-OTG cable to directly link your Ps3 controller to your Android device) I'm not sure if this is the same with the other controllers, but I'm going to assume that it's very much like this or something similar.

No: Well does the applications have any sort of setup with pairing the controllers then?

Screenshot_20161230-224608.png GBA.emu allows me to scan a Wii Remote and it tells me "Scan complete. No recognized devices." When I scan a Wii Remote in my tablet's settings (With or without the motion plus inside it), it tells me to input a pin and my 3 methods fail (pin a = 1234, pin b = 0000, & pin c = 0125). The same goes for a pro controller. I'm probably gonna need a Wii remote app from the Play Store that'll work (Bluez IME doesn't scan it either).

This seems like a reliable and feasible solution to me as it makes more sense of how to pair a controller to an mobile device.
He's using a different GBA emulator tho (My Boy! (which is the best one imo)) but I don't think that'll affect how the Wii Remote will function.
Try it out for yourself and lemme know what happens.

Welp, Wiimote Controller was taken down, and MyBoy's Link remote mode didn't do anything. I'm willing to spare change for a USB OTG. Luckily I still have a wireless 360 controller with the receiver lying around. Thanks for the advice, though! Least I don't have to worry about battery life cause my Samsung tablet uses it right. I think these ones would work well. :T

By the time they arrive, I'll probably post a video of it in action.

Hmm? Do you know about .apk? There tons of apk's of Wiimote Controller on the internet lol.
Buying an Usb-OTG cable is also good, but what ever you wanna do is what you do (:

So they finally arrived (I got 2 of them, wew), and they don't work with my Xbone controller or my wireless 360 controller with its receiver. My Dualshock 3 controller did nothing either (it isn't supported either). I tried using gamepad apps like Sixaxis, but my controller made no inputs when I use it.

Heard after a tiny bit of research that USB OTG doesn't work on Android 6.0.1. Oof.
