Exactly. If a hardmod goes wrong or something with the physical NAND goes wrong.

Yeah, pretty much. The only way you can mess it up using the software is by messing with the arm9 (or any) core when installing arm9loaderhax improperly, etc.

The only way you can get it without messing with hardware is by something failing, which is extremely rare.
