Well. I dont know about this zelda game.
But when i did with soduku i didn't copy savedata folder. O copied its .bin insde file.
Seem right to me. I've done about 10 jpn consoles without issues.
Make sure the folder you're copying is the folder with the files and not the container folder also try downloading the save again
This 3ds region is JPN,so I use zelda.
Do you mean that under the "[7:] FAT IMAGE " is a .bin , not "/savedata/.bin" ?
Did you delete before you wrote the save?
Let me check again ...
Right ?
Why I always enter game menu every-times ...
Did you delete before you wrote the save?
well ... delete what ?
I didn't see any delete step on guide (Section III ).
Did you delete the savedata folder on the fat image? I don't remember deleting it and just pasted and over wrote it you may wantto try that. It looks like youdeleted the fat image before writing it
maybe I has even deleted it ... but now in data folder there is a public.sav , and I mount it, writing the savedata folder into that.
Couldn't you just use the premade public.sav image?
Keep in mind the target app needs exactly a 16KB save for this to work.

I know the game will delete the save if not exactly 16k. You either have the wrong save or as i mentioned instead of deletingthe folder then copying paths just copy paths and overwrite the file
Just watched the video for a 5th time op is using an incompatible game with a 120kb save file :-p
OP is using the right game, but that's a good catch on the save file size. It has to be 16kb. Not sure why OP ended up with a 128kb save.Just watched the video for a 5th time op is using an incompatible game with a 120kb save file :-p
