The point of open source projects is the strong impromvent through community. A nice example is PKHeX.
I can't told you for sure, that I can deliver a new major feature, because I'm new to 3ds hacking and need to take an overview over the project.
But I think there is a lot of place for improvment. I would like to found out more about individual item flags (Flag 1 & 2), what can be done with exhibition.dat, editing camping coupons and camping ground.
Meow coupons (camping) already have the offset, editing just isn't implemented already. Also, the value is encrypted so until an algorithm is found, you will manually have to get the encrypted value for an amount of meow coupons/ bells (bells use same algorithm).

How do I move the boat for the island? I moved the storage bin but the boat isn't there with it.

That's impossible. Holden and another villager (which I can't remember right now) cannot move 'legally' to your town. You must inject him with the editor directly as a resident.

For people wondering who is the other villager that cannot legally move via RV, it's Filly

Some people would like have more MEOW coupons, here's what you can do :

open your garden_plus.dat in hex editor and go to 0x8DBC
sans_t11.png

replace these value by : 20 34 1E 5D 5D 15 15 89 like this :

save (don't restore your save now), open it on http://www.marcrobledo.com/apps/acnl-editor/ and click on Save changes
copie your new save on SD card and restore

hni_0010.jpg

enjoy.

Backup your save before do this, I don't responsible if save file lost

Something is broken in the editor I think, hitting the Save changes-button does absolutely nothing :( Tried it with both Chrome and Firefox

Should be fixed now, thank you!
Hmmmm....it doesn't work.

When I press "Accept", it just won't go through...

My Savedata

Try it with my savedata, let me know if it works...
Because I don't know what's wrong with my laptop...

My laptop is new and I am using Google Chrome, 2DS 11.0, and ACNL physical Copy.

Edit: And now "Save Changes" won't work too....

Indeed, those ids have been in the code for ages, but they were commented because I needed them to be confirmed. I'll enable them, thank you. The rest of the snow people is still missing though.

Seems to be 7FF8 for every snowmans, but I think it doesn't work properly.

I was wondering if anyone has compiled a list of flags for custom furniture? I've got a short list of a few of the flags that I've logged and would be happy to contribute if someone already has a spreadsheet of some kind going.

I've noticed there isn't an option to edit birthday, think its possible to edit this? Since I've lost my save file from the update and I'll be using a friend's save in the meantime.

Great idea, if nobody give a shout I would like to start a spreadsheet.

You need a Japanese cart or region and/or language emulation.

Do you have NTR? If so, you can just poke at 0x31F05870 (assuming you're EUR) to see what is stored in Player 1's inventory slot 01.

Sadly, no. I'm on 11.2 with oothax.
Then you can look at 0x6bd0 in garden_plus.dat.
I haven't ever looked at item tags for custom items, but I think it should be something like
XX XX YY YY
where Y is the item ID, and then X is the item that was used to customize the item.
so, if I made a custom ranch bed with a no.1 shirt the ID would be
24 B4 29 EA

However, this is a hypothesis, but I can look at it later when I go home.
