On my N3DS XL, I see the colors are more "colder" or less vibrant if you were to say than what I see in CTR-V on my computer, this was the case for NTRviewer as well. But I'm just checking if there's any solution to making it look more like it does on the 3DS screen.
Its actually correct on the PC screen, The 3DS screen is actually incorrect. Its something to do with the screen type and how 3D works.

does the content of whats being streamed affect the quality of the ntr viewer? while i dont expect it to run well on my lack luster internet, i notice it animates fine on the homemenu, but often times goes perfectly for a few seconds, slows down, or stops while ingame (used monster hunter generations as a test).

Totally up to the router's power, and not up/down speed

Dont use your phone as a "Hotspot", Phone's Wifi Adapters are RLLY RLLY unpowerful, Meaning it wont give you good FPS since the actually wifi adapter in the device is bad. (Ive never seen a phone with not even half as powerful as a laptop wifi adapter).
Well... that's all I got. I do have a powerful router, but my mobile is my only source of internet.
I've been trying to get the router to tether via USB with my phone, but it fails to work. I know it can. Just need to figure out how.

I attempted to connect the laptop to the WiFi hotspot, then share (bridge) that connection via ethernet to the router. Works, have internet from the router over WiFi to other devices, but then CTR-V wont connect anymore.
We need a way to force the 3DS to stay connected to a network even when internet is not present. That would solve all of this.

Would bridging the mobile hotspot to the HostedNetwork feature of CTR-V work? The 3DS should be connecting directly to the laptop's WiFi card, and the bridge would allow the console to see an internet connection.
I've tried it, but can't get it to connect. Keeps showing error that the 3DS IP address is wrong.

BTW, I tried the new update. MUCH MUCH better. Average is around 30fps. Still getting random slow downs and hangs. I'm sure it is due to the weak wireless module in my phone.

I swear the BootNTR Wiki use to reference "FakeProxy" which you setup on your PC and direct the 3DS to it and it would allow you to stay connected regardless of having internet access, doesn't appear to be on the GitHub wiki any more.

Please wait patiently for the next update, The NTRViewer used for 1.2.0.1 is extremely lower FPS. The next update will give a 2x-4x boost (Roughly).

Is 1.2.1 the FPS boost update or should we wait longer for it? And if it is, will future updates bring even better FPS or is this it?

For some reason I get a perfect top screen and a blacked out bottom screen, yes the bottom screen is enabled in the preferences panel and I've tried swapping the priority to the bottom to see if that helped and it didn't. Help?

cannot run it (win 7 64bit) v1.2.1
is this tool has additional requirement?
because i can run nitro stream (averagely 25 fps, but i want more so i really want to try this)

Hi, I'm having some troubles with Sun/Moon streaming : I'm following the video tutorial but when I press Home to get back in game my 3DS always gets disconnected from the internet (when I switch back to Home menu, the internet logo is white and says "active", then turns blue once again but if I get back in-game I still get the same result, over and over). Do you have any idea why that happens (because obviously it doesn't in OP's video) ?

You dont need internet to stream it, Just the Network being connected from the PC and 3DS.

1.2.1 is the FPS boost (Only Slight but efficient). And I cant say, This build is the official Preview v2 version (Final version of NTRViewer) but unless people work on the source code this is it.

Yeah I heard about that too but to be honest its not really helpful anymore.

Not to bug or somethiung, but is there going to be a port of the Wii U?
No idea I didnt make NTRViewer just CTR-V

Stay on Default settings reboot 3DS and then give it a try, Otherwise not too sure.

Did it say sent Sun/Moon NFC patch? You gotta wait for it to say "Writing Sun/Moon NFC Patch..." before pressing the home menu to go back in the game, Sometimes it fails to detect Sun/Moon meaning sometimes you have to click Connect 2 times while on the Home Menu for it to start sending.

Thanks a lot for the explanation. For some reason on my 10+ attempts it didn't work once but first try after you tell me to watch for the SuMo NFC patch is the one ^^ I have another question though, even on 100% quality the stream from the 3DS is still 240p (obviously) and so it looks kinda bad on my 1080p laptop, whereas the vids I saw seemed to display a perfect 1080p upscale of the 3DS's footage. Is that something I have to tweak in CTR-V or in the recording software ?

The Quality meter on the top is like a Connection/Link Quality not the Quality of the Video. You can edit the quality to 100 in Settings but its not recommended 90 is perfect for FPS + Quality.
And the quality will always look bad "upscaled" theres no way to really make it any better unfortunately.

At most you can apply a depixelation filter, but that will just make everything blurry. More than likely the footage you saw came from the 3DS emulator Citra, which can render the games beyond the original resolution.

Theres no such thing as a Depixelation Filter, I do know what you mean, Your on about Anti-Aliasing and such, Now that CANT be added with NTRViewer as far as I know, But you can do it with OBS, So add it to OBS using Window Capture, Right Click -> Stretch (Something) -> Lanczos or Bicubic (That will make it look sharper), From there just click Filters and experiment.

would you mind to add windows size customization?
maybe it helps with this issue...
