That's actually what I tried first, before applying the patch that also didn't work.

I just tried patching the ROM with the patch from romhacking.net, and opening it with a ZSNES on my PC forcing the emulator in NTSC mode, and indeed I get the same message that you. I'll PM you.

Damn, I was really hoping SMRPG would work. It's no your fault, I know, but it's still so disappointing. Fucking Nintendo.

Is there any SNES emulator for the 3DS (better if works well in o3ds) that manages well those ROMs? I'm planning to do a Forwarder Maker for those emulator I think...

It works with the SNES emulators from Retroarch. Some graphical glitches and a bit of slowdown, iirc.

So the SDDA-1 Chip is only exist in 2 games, Street fighter alpha 2 and star ocean. If is possible to inject the star ocean rom into street fighter alpha 2 (The japanese one named Street fighter Zero 2, cause star ocean only exist in japanese) Then maybe it could work? Are you saying the only reason why the game doesn't work is cause is 6MB file size? Then Tales of phantasia or any rom hacks of 6MB won't work either?

Honestly, the star ocean games doesn't concern me since i have the PSP game which is way better and in english naturally, and tales of phantasia exist on GBA in english and other ports so, just curious about rom hacks that sometimes get up to 6MB like the super mario world ones.

Also is satellaview roms playable at all? I remember some require timed events but never got one to work ever.

is there any way to, in the future, apply images to the carts themselves too? I've done this with the old injections that I made, and they look pretty dope.

Hey, awesome release. Makes the whole injection process so simple.

I had been waiting on the SNES version :) - Might be dreaming here but hopefully we get some more SNES virtual console releases from Nintendo which include some more of the unsupported chips. I would love to be able to have a Star Ocean and Tales of Phantasia rom injection on my home screen!

I put together a video guide to show noobs how to install and use your tools, hopefully it raises awareness and gets more people using VC injections.

Cheers

I can answer that for you. As stated in the OP, the emulator doesn't have any parameters that can be changed, unlike other emulators. As such, only the 4:3 and pixel-perfect aspect ratios are available (I'm guessing you want a streched fullscreen aspect ratio?)

yes , I play on emulator at full screen and i preffer this...but not seems this is an option here

I would want a full screen super budoten 2 ...no emu can work it properly

Given that all RA cores are started the same way, I think you should just enable selecting the core when making the forwarder.
blargSNES compatibility is basically the same as the official VC.

That explains why the fan translation of Dragon Quest III doesn't work.

No, you will get an unrecoverable freeze, you'll have to force reboot the console. They work in RA though

The audio is having glitches. Can you please just do an update fixing this? And have us able to force both SNES US and SNES EU/JP depending on the 3DS's region?

It is possible to run Terranigma by installing it as a cia, as I am playing one right now without any issues.

However, I haven't been able to figure out how to get it working using this injector. Under normal circumstances, without any changes to the rom or injector, I will get the "This game pak is not designed for your super famicom or super nes" message. If I apply the NTSC patch, it will give the same message. Using a rom that runs on NTSC forced mode, the game does start, but is quite buggy (black screens, and audio failing). So if there's anyone who knows how to make this game work using the injector, it would be appreciated :)

Yes Sir! Maybe the next version.

The audio glitches depends of the game. It's not up to me :(
I will make the region-adaptable 3d banner in the next version.

Maybe there's another patch that converts the rom to NTSC better than the other one? If you don't find something like that, I'll study that Terranigma working CIA and see what the creator did! Also, I will add CIA editing feature in the future, like GBA Injector, but just for editing icon and banner.

I have a hex-edited PAL Terranigma rom that runs at 60 fps on an emulator. I will see if it works with the VC emulator,

IDK about everyone, but i am using OoTHAx from my Zelda: OoT cartridge for 3ds & I am able to run ANY snes game on it... mana, mana 2, star ocean, super mario rpg, etc.

I use the snes9x emulator if anyone is curious.
