Hello! I'm building a Gaming PC. And I would like some questions to be answered...

I'm using the guide by Austin Evans for a $500 (My Budget) PC, the video can be seen here,

I just want it for some light gaming and schoolwork. Like Don't Starve, Don't Starve Together, ROBLOX (Don't judge me, k?), and Google Docs.

As I can see, there is no possible way to connect to the Internet wirelessly without a Wi-Fi dongle, right? Which one would be good for online gaming? Don't worry about the budget, as the budget is only for the PC. $20-$30 would be best though.

And how would I get the OS up and running, I kinda want Windows 10. I already have the .ISO and I am going to get a USB (4gb) for the Installable Drive, is there a guide on how to make it one and how to use it to install the OS? Do I need an activation code for it after I install it?

What monitor is cheap yet looks good? 1080p would be great. $40-$50?

The case is sold out, so if possible, is there another case that will fit my build and let airflow go through?

Thanks!

The cleanest way is to use a PCI-e Wifi card. A Decent one would cost you 15 usd.
Since you already have the Windows iso, I suggest you buy a key from a website like kinguin. I bought a Win 10 home key for 27usd
A cheap new 1080p monitor would cost you 70 usd.

I suggest you don't stick to his build, do some customization. What's your total budget?

This sohuld be good enough.

An RX460 is good enough for online gaming, the i3 6100 is good too and when you need aa cpu upgrade, you can jump on the Kaby Lake train. Rest of the build is pretty conservative. Opted for a Case with a PSU provided. It's a Cooler Master so it should be reasonably reliable.

Should I be concerned about this? What does this mean? Kinda clueless on PC technical stuff. Hoping to learn though.

And yes, this will fit my budget, just need to work another week to get enough money. So money isn't my absolutely main concern. Just want to stay in the $500-$600 range if possible.

Not something to be super concerned about, just means you won't be able to use the faster USB 3.0 standard from the front of the computer

Wait, is there more USB ports on the back? I need to plug in the USB stick to install the OS. Sorry for asking stupid questions.

Shouldnt you just get a new case for around the same amount than instead of paying almost $70 for a 6 year old case which doesnt even have usb 3.0

I'm clueless on cases, and I don't know which ones will fit. If you have a suggestion that will fit the build that guy linked me, I would like to hear it since I want to have the best PC experience.

Can't I just replace the power source if any problems occur?
You could, except that usually when a power supply gives up the ghost it usually takes some other piece of hardware with it (usually a power surge occurs when a PSU dies)

Still, it would appear as though it has a high rating, and given it's manufactured by EVGA you should be fine with that one

I think one way to get around that or prevent if is, if he has extra money, he could possibly invest in a UPS.

Shit psus do that. Most quality supplies won't as they should have good protection cicuirty (ocp, ovp etc). I've had two Corsair TX650Ws go out with a spark/bang and burnt smell, neither damaged the hardware they were connected to.
