Im a little lost what to do now... I have a N3ds with ver 11.0.0-33u along with the Homebrew Launcher 1.1.1. Can i install a CFW to avoid the official updates and be able to play new games aswell? (ie mariomaker

You would have to reform a Hardmod or get a second system with A9LH installed to preform a DSiware downgrade. As of right now, there is currently no method to downgrade anything above 10.7 beyond those two methods.

I wouldn't recommend updating as it will patch Waithax (Slowhax) which just came out.

The MarioMaker update is saying 11.1.0. not 11.2

You don't need anything other then a homebrew entry point to use slowhax. To actually downgrade you need a dsiware

Sorry, wrong question meaning. I mean, can slowhax use to downgrade his 3DS without correct DSiware title, the same way as DSiware transfer with replaced title?
Since right now all correct DSiware title are pulled. So I'm not sure slowhax can help him install CFW.
Did menuhax + emuNAND work on sysNAND 11.0.0-33u?

What do you want to accomplish? 11.1 has menuhax patch. You need other exploit to use.
If you want to play pirated game, only option is downgrade to 9.2 and go CFW with menuhax + emuNAND or A9LH.
The way to do it already explain by @Crystal the Glaceon. I'm not sure that slowhax can help you in this case.

Apparently a way was discovered to use almost any DSiware title to downgrade. Not sure if it works with Slowhax or not though.

That's what I'm asking @xtheman166 above.
If slowhax can't replace DSiware title, he still need to use DSiware transfer with DSiware title replaced.
Since all correct DSiware titles already been pull off eshop.

I dont want to play a pirated game (i bought Mario Maker) and when i put it in, im promted to update to 11.1. I want to know that if i DO update to 11.1 i will still have the ability to access my Homebrew menu (with everything intact) and still have the ease of Menuhax

Nope, 11.1+ can't use menuhax.

So Regardless if i want to update my 3ds to play mario maker i either lose my Homebrew access or i wait till i can install custom with either one of these methods?
