Would be cool to have my Wii collection on Virtal Console form, I hope we can do this in the future, since not every Wii game is available on eShop, third party ones the most.

This NFS is a converted WBFS. I compared the files sizes of the NFSs in total with the size of the WBFS of Xenoblade and Super Mario Galaxy a while ago and the difference was exactly the same - down to the last byte.
Holy hot damn this is getting good.I'm kinda tempted to buy a Wii VC and experiment stuff... Mmmmmm.
Or you just download the decryted files with JNUSTool. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯I'm kinda tempted to buy a Wii VC and experiment stuff... Mmmmmm.

I would assume that what Sabykos meant is, that we could take a wbfs game directly, cut in 250mb parts, and replace the nfs files. Well that's what I think it would be.Holy hot damn this is getting good.
Like eggnog good.
Time to check out those Wii VC prices.![]()
Still, if vWii with gamepad becomes a thing, we'd most likely need an original Wii VC in case we want to acecss it from sysnand w/o sig patches.Or you just download the decryted files with JNUSTool. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Woah that's right. I wonder, do I need a REDNAND for this, or I could install on sysnand and use IOSUhax to be able to run the game?Or you just download the decryted files with JNUSTool. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Go for the latter. I heard rednand doesn't boot Wii VC.Woah that's right. I wonder, do I need a REDNAND for this, or I could install on sysnand and use IOSUhax to be able to run the game?

So I can install games on sysnand safely? Just to be sure I don't mess up my consoleGo for the latter. I heard rednand doesn't boot Wii VC.
well I installed homebrew launcher (not haxchi, 100% standalone) on sysnand just fine. granted I'm also using the coldboothax thing, but there you goSo I can install games on sysnand safely? Just to be sure I don't mess up my console![]()

Gotcha! I'll definitely poke at this!If you want to install the game, use FunkiiU for downloading and install the game on sigpatched sysNAND.
Worst that could happen is not being able to boot the app, that's all.So I can install games on sysnand safely? Just to be sure I don't mess up my console![]()
Xenoblade and Resident Evil 4 I believe are compatible with the Gamepad. Is there a Wii game out there that is able to use classic controller, but its WiiVC doesnt use the gamepad? If thats the case someone could try to inject Xenoblades fw.img to that game and see if it enabled gamepad support fot that game. If I remember correctly the fw.imgs of Xenoblade and Super Mario Galaxy differed, but there was a version string in the code and Xenoblade's was just an updated version of Super Mario Galaxy's fw.img. Might be a good idea to inject Xeno fw.img to SMG to see if the game still works then. Would be cool if those fw.imgs would be somewhat universally compatible. Would be funny to inject the other way around. xD You would likely lose Gamepad support in then I guess. Anyway thats all worth nothing if not someone REs that thing. But afaik someone was working on it an did it. He just cant test his findings since he hasnt access to his WiiU till Chrstmas. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
