Since i'm not able to do the super duper easy a9lh method, after downgrading to 2.1.0 on my N3ds, and going into the browser, i type in the link, and the 3ds freezes. and it's not just a glitched screen. its the web browser, but it's just frozen. I initialized web save data, but it still doesn't work..

The Plailect guide recommends this, since the OTPless method randomly bricks.

Please make sure that you're using the correct version of SafeA9LHInstaller: You should have exactly 8 files in SD:/a9lh/ (4 from release.7z, 4 from data_input_v3.zip), as well as an arm9.bin, arm11.bin, and SafeA9LHInstaller.dat on your sd root.

If that isn't your problem, you should try using OTPHelper's OtpHelper.dat, arm11.bin, and arm9.bin, dump your otp.bin, restore your nand to 9.2, then install A9LH with your otp.bin (exported to your sd root) inside SD:/a9lh/, then run SafeA9LHInstaller as a .3dsx instead via homebrew launcher.

I know the links on the page look just like the files you already downloaded earlier in the guide, but they're not. Mine kept launching OTPHelper instead of SafeA9LHInstaller. That was my mistake. Either way, I got OTP.bin dumped, which was nice. But the version of SafeA9LHInstaller recommended was a previous release, not the latest release.

Thanks for the reply, guys lol
I had figured it out yesterday.. not only was i using a newer version of the safea9lhinstaller, i was using the data_input_v4 too. I had just gotten done with the n3ds black friday edition, and this was the second one. And the first one, i installed using otpless method, before it was taken down. So i used most of the files from the otpless method instead of redownloading to save pc space.

LUCKILY, I somehow didnt brick and it let me know i was about to screw up and shut down on me. i reread the section of the guide and it worked perfectly..
