True, in case people mess around in the vWii and just bricked it, and have a NAND dump or the keys in their SD Card.

But FIX94 didn't add it......but i have no idea if he will anyways.
Exactly. I'm somewhat shocked nobody has made a software recovery for vWii yet, now that we have IOSU... Which basically makes the Wii U our bitch.

Ha, yeah.

I hope FIX94 notices this thread and needs to make a NAND restore.
I hardly doubt he will make it now.
I did leave him a message on what happened to my semi-bricked vWii.

So for now, we're just playing the waiting game.

Just hoping someone makes a NAND restore.

Meh, i'm gonna go to sleep and reply to people who comments on this thread tomorrow.

Hopefully FIX94 replies to me tomorrow as well.

Installing a custom theme on the vWii is bad news.

Don't even do it folks.

It will fuck up your vWii, but at least it's not a full brick for me, which is lucky as hell but not really lucky.

I'm so stupid that i didn't read very carefully on the pinned threads.

But at least the Wii U menu is fine.

Yeah, but the question is, where do i find another vWii?

I have the NAND dump and the keys in my SD card, and the wuphax backup.
You got all you need to fix vWii.

- Extract the stupid theme you installed into some folder.
- Get one of those file system dumpers (dumps just files) from the HB app store, then dump the files from the vWii partition.
- Now extract your vWii nand backup with your keys into some other folder.
- Now use a file comparison software like Beyond Compare to find which files where modified between the current file system and the backup based on the extracted theme files.
- Find the files edited by the theme, take notes and restore them from the backup using wuphax. Remember to not do something stupid like getting confused and replace files on the Wii U partition sides.
- Pray.

And also for step two, as for file system dumpers, i see FT2SD.
It can dump vWii content.

7zip? At least mym themes are just a zip file.

I got a mym file of the theme i got, think it's the same thing.

Couldn't extract a csm file.
Now i extracted the theme, it only has layout and mym.ini

And also, i tried to use FT2D, and it said "IOSUHAX_open failed"

Guessing i need that as well.

Is there an .app with it?

Nope, it doesn't. just layout and mym.ini

It seems to have opened the file correctly, so it likely is a .app file. Which program did you use to install the csm on the vWii? We need to find which .app was overwritten on the vWii.

The theme i got just came with the csm file.
And what installed the theme was Mymenuify.
