So, i was still new to this Wii homebrew hacking, and me, my dumbass self, decided to install a theme.

Little did i know, is that it would brick my vWii. (I can go in the SD card and Messages just not the Wii Options and the Homebrew Channel.)

So, i got one random theme, and it installed perfectly.

Bad thing is that, i was fucked when i can't go into my forwarders at all.

I should've read a bit more about this.

Note, this is not a full brick.

I do have the nand backup, but i looked into threads that there's no way to restore the vWii.

Does anyone have a solution or am i just screwed at this point?

And if there's no actual solution, then it's back to the Wii U Homebrew then.

Hm, i do have wuphax (obviously to do this) but what can it do to help? (just a noob question, still new to this)
To be honest I'm unsure how to work with wuphax, only @FIX94 might be able to help you there since he is the one who knows how it works and what it can do exactly.

No, Wuphax does not currently have the ability to help. Although, FIX94 might be able to add a few things to it to give it that ability

My guess is that you could replace titles from the same region with dumps from another vwii. So maybe you could get the system menu and ioses from that and overwrite them with iosuhax.

That's just a random guess though.

Yeah that's another problem haha. Unless someone is willing to dump their files and share. But honestly I have no idea if this could actually work or make it worse. Lol

Guess all i can do, is wait until FIX94 replies to me, or just wait until he releases a new way to restore NAND.

True that. Patience is virtue. Either way, I'm still curious about possible titles overwrites, considering that wuphax is just a .app replacement over miimaker.

Yeah, I just got to get someone to even do that, or someone kind enough to do even share that.

or just wait for a vWii NAND restore.
is that even possible to restore NAND?

And i like to see someone even try to overwrite the titles as well.

If you ever find a solution then I'm sure some awesome guy would gladly share the system menu/IOS files with you.
It is technically possible to restore NAND, but no apps for vWii exist that can do that, and you would need a NAND dump or at least the keys. Of course with wuphax I'm fairly sure it's possible. It all depends on whether or not FIX94 can implement these functions into wuphax. More likely the ability to install IOSes/titles would be implemented over restoring NAND.

I have the NAND dump and the keys in my SD card, and the wuphax backup.
I messaged FIX94 a while ago, but he didn't respond yet.
For right now, i'm just waiting until i'm able to restore the NAND and be more careful in the future.
Honestly, i have no idea when FIX94 will even update to restore NAND or someone will make a app for it, and the shitty part is that
i can't get in the Homebrew Channel, the Forwarders, the Wii Options or even any apps at all, and if i do, it just sits there and freezes.
Luckily, this is not a full brick or otherwise i couldn't do anything.
right now, we have to wait if FIX94 can even add a way to restore NAND or message back at me.

NAND Backup/Restore option should have been a day 1 feature upon original release...

True, in case people mess around in the vWii and just bricked it, and have a NAND dump or the keys in their SD Card.

But FIX94 didn't add it......but i have no idea if he will anyways.
